Littlesea Holiday Park - Haven
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Had a long weeked away at Littlesea Haven in Weymouth and it was great!

8 of us plus 1 dog stayed in a standard caravan and although a little cramped, it suited us perfectly.

The staff were all very friendly, restaurant had yummy food for reasonable prices and there is lots to do for kids. Park, arcade, swimming (indoor and outdoor) and the evening entertainment was fab.

Couldn't fauly our break away, thanks Haven!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. When doing a private booking your passes are not usually included however if you were to book directly through haven the passes are included in the overall price. Sounds like you still had a great stay so hope to see you back here at Littlesea.

Many Thanks

First time we had taken the grandchildren (4 & 6) away on our own - first half of holiday. Overall, it suited us down to the ground safe space for the little ones, good on-site facilities and comfortable, spacious accommodation with friendly, helpful staff. Not cheap, but it was school holidays.

We booked a luxury lodge, sleeping 6 - Bayview 36 - 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms with double convertible settee in lounge. Everything in tip top condition and fine view from verandah. Not too close to the neighbours either. Let down was lack of kitchen utensils and no bath mats , which could not be rectified during our stay. Also, only 4 chairs in dining area and on verandah (which was partly sorted for us)

The site to beach, half hourly bus service was a real boon. We only used the indoor pool (quite
crowded), crazy golf and playground, which were busy but tolerable, so cannot comment on rest of facilities.

Would go back on assurance that issues reported will be dealt with.

Thank you for your feedback. It is lovely to hear that you and your grandchildren had a wonderful, perfect holiday. Our lodges are wonderful and very comfortable. I have reported your issues to our housekeeping manager who will make sure any missing inventory is replaced. We are a very safe, family friendly park having one entrance in and out the complex. We hope to see you again in the near future.

Many Thanks

I went to this park for a week in August with my family. Caravan was nice and clean and the location is fantastic for all amenities. My only complaint is that the service in the restaurant is awful - an hour long wait for breakfast isnt good at all....

Lots to do for the children and the shows were very good. Spar and Starbucks on site, all the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Would go again but wouldnt eat there.

Thank you for taking the time to add your comments regarding your holiday. Our restaurant does have some very busy periods during the school holidays, sorry for any disappointment. From reading your feedback I am so pleased this did not completely mar your holiday and you and your family went on to have a wonderful stay.

Many Thanks

We've just returned from a week at Liitlesea with our family of four and the positives are the Platinum van in Lagoon 20 was outstanding and cleaned to the highest standard, upon arrival I was greeted by Jess at check in and she was absolutely professional and extremely helpful. ( She is a credit to your site). We used the pool everyday but as we were in peak season it does get very busy and it would have been nice to have stayed open a little longer as 6 is far to early to shut, the arcades are more than adequate for all ages and I felt my younger children were very safe.
Now moving on to the entertainment we saw 3 outstanding acts whilst there which were Sandy(think that was his name) sang Motown n reggae in the Mash n Barrel, Shirley ? And Glad it's night and they were brilliant and are a definite must although the guy in in the mash n barrel was far suited to the main hall as he had the whole place up dancing!!! Haven take note!!!
But the negative is the Fun Stars which were made up with a very immature bunch and they were very disappointing, and I was shocked that young children's entertainment was still going on until 10:40pm!!. Surely for the money we are paying there should be a good balance of entertainment and why don't these acts start at 1030pm.....seriously why so late??,
The is our 6th visit to the site and apart from the 3 Acts mentioned the rest of the week was utter rubbish and not worthy of fighting for a seat to see in the club house!!
However apart from that small grumble we've had a excellent week and the sun shined everyday thank you Littlesea.

Go to Haven they said, award winning little sea! top star rating! FOR WHAT?? an expensively priced coffee shop and rude ataff to boot, sound great! not!

weve just returned from a 5 nite stay. Arrived at the site which is at the bottom of what looks like a factory estate, lots of car garages etc..... the site is very new but there was rubbish and litter srewn everywhere. entertainment passes were quite highly priced but we though it would be worth paying for our little ones 2 & 3years. How wrong were we, there wasnt a play area suitable for them....no swings, slides etc. To cold for the outdoor pool and no slides etc in the pokey little indoor pool (which was also freezing)

You had to pay through the nose for everything, crazy golf wasnt free as we were advised. The food was ridiculously priced in the restaurant and equally as expensive in the chip shop and pizza hut. starbucks coffee shop outside, again....ridiculous prices.

we booked a holiday camp with the thought of having a stress free relaxing break but our noisey potty mouthed neighbours ensured that wasnt the case. and we felt very let down by the uninterested staff who still hadnt done anything despite out complaints..

overall very disappointed with our haven experience. good points: the entertainment, kids club, fun stars,......

bad points, remote location. no beach. rubbish and litter. expensive...nothing for little ones. noisy neighbours with failed 'zero tolerence' policy.
