. There's lots of stuff for the kids to do including snake and tarantula handling! The aquariums are housed in seperate themed buildings and lots of interesting stuff to see. Unusual for an oceanarium were the rides, and we enjoyed the log flume and pirate ship. Take swimmies as well, as there's a splash park for the kids.
It's not a huge park and we spent 3 full hours there, but I would imagine in the height of summer there would be a lot of queueing. We visisted in Autumn this year with half-price vouchers from Asda and had a really great afternoon. At full price I think it would cost a family of four around £90 which I think is too steep.

We went there with great expectations- which was a mistake in hindsight. There were a few interesting sea creatures, but for the price the exhibit is small and the number of creatures on display is really low. If they had not combined it with the other Weymouth attractions, it would not have been worth the money anyway. The pirate golf club next doors is in shambles. If you look at the pirates themselves, you feel sorry for them as some of them have an arm or a leg missing with cobwebs galore.

I would say that do this only if you are stuck in Weymouth and have nothing else to do.

was a nice supprise to see more than just fish, had penguins, seals, otters and turtles. had some rides for the children but were closed due to it being winter. only negative is that its expensive to get im. £30 an adult and was only there 90 mins and saw some things twice

It was very interesting and really enjoyed the visit. The staff were friendly and helpful 2 weren't so.
The kids adventure area is great with the little rides.
I think the gate price is a little expensive I know they have to feed the fish etc but on the gate full price is nearly £80 for 4 people for 3 hours or so. What we did was had a free child ticket from a sea life leaflet and then paid for a ticket on line for £13 and then paid one full price ticket at gate so the free child ticket was valid.

We loved the Sea Life Adventure Park as instead of being inside all the time, u follow the penguin feet to various parts of the park that have different attractions. Holding crabs, stroking starfish, watching sharks being fed, holding spiders and snakes, oh and a few rides for the smaller ones and a crocodile ride u WILL get wet on .... included in price. We went on cold bright day and it was great although it isn't too bad price wise to get in, refreshments can be so take some with u. If it is a nice day, the outside water sprinklers will cool them down and give u a chance to rest. Check the web and try and book at least 24 hours in advance for deals/reduced prices. The Lodmoor next door offers a good evening meal too if u stay all day.
