I have been using this B+B for about 2 months now as I have been coming down to visit my father and prefer to stay there for my sanity. The staff have always been fantastic and cannot do enough for you. I have stayed in a number of the rooms and they have always been first class with great linen and fabulous showers plus they are experts at getting the little details right. Breakfasts are great and the location is fabulous plus waking up and opening the curtains and seeing the sea in front of you is an added bonus. Overall I cannot praise the place highly enough.

What a great find. This B&B is in one of the best situations in Weymouth. We came by train and it was only a short walk from the station and also perfect for catching buses to surrounding areas.
We loved the decor in the hotel which was simple but with modern furnishings. There was a super lounge providing as much tea ,coffee and biscuits as you required and along with the breakfast room overlooked the seafront. The bedroom was very clean and tidy and was cleaned daily. Breakfast was prepared to order with a good choice and enough to keep you going for the day.
I must say that we were also disturbed at 6am ( as another reviewer mentioned) and couldn't understand who it was noisily closing doors so early, especially as breakfast didn't start until 7am! Also I think in midsummer the position could be a disadvantage as it is nearer to the pubs and bars, so could be noisy.

Dear Guest - thank you very much for reviewing B+B Weymouth. We are proud of our location and are pleased that you have enjoyed our centrality. It makes really good sense to use the trains ( 2 services to London an hour + hourly to Bristol/Bath etc) and walk along the seafront to us - it only takes a few minutes. The town's eateries are all withing walking distance and there are some super bars close by. If you visit in summer, there are many more families in town and everywhere is busy, including the pubs so for a more tranquil stay, you picked the better time of year! Come again in summer, though - Weymouth boasts an amazing events calender.

My sister & I loved the location of this hotel, it's in the heart of Weymouth & what a God send this was over the 2 nights we stayed, with a Weatherspoons across the road where we could wile away a couple of hours whilst the wind blew it's exfoliating sandy Siberian icy blast! Everything we wanted to visit was within walking distance, having parked the car close to the hotel thanks to the parking permit. Luckily this wasn't a problem for us but I can imagine it would be a nightmare in the peak season. We loved the large comfy lounge with views across the sea & appreciated the free beverages facilities; however, we would have much preferred these facilities in our room as when you wake up in the morning, you don't want to have to trek along a corridor in your jimjams to make a hot drink... The breakfast was great as it was prepared fresh to order. Unfortunately, I was awoken both mornings at 06:00 by banging doors (although my sister slept through it all) & then more disturbance a bit later by what seemed like a herd of elephants above us! I would definitely ask for the top floor to prevent this happening again (great aerobic exercise!). There was no drawer space in our room but there was a huge walk in wardrobe. Also, I would prefer the option of a shower or bath rather than a wet room which was very cold as we were on the corner of the building. The plastic beakers were not replaced for our second night; there were initially 2 in the bathroom & 2 in the bedroom but we'd used 2 for our wine on the first night...The front door was quite difficult to open but by the time we were leaving I'd mastered the knack of opening it (turn the knob as soon as you've entered the code so it clicks...). I have a dog at home but really don't like the thought of someone else's pet having spent the night in my room & did notice when returning home & doing my laundry that there was pet hair where it really shouldn't be... However, the overall experience of this hotel was great; you have to take the good with the bad... PS. there's a FAB little old fashioned Tea room on the other side of the quay which gives you a great Dorset cream tea (plus tea cosy & freezing cold outside loo!!!)...

Room Tip: I'd go to the top of the hotel if you want to avoid thumping noises from above... also, room 16...

Friendly staff and good breakfast. Clean room with travel cot provided. Really nice lounge with great supply of hot drinks, bottled water and biscuits. A very enjoyable stay overall however was woken twice in the early hours of sunday morning to revellers fighting. This ofcourse is an external problem rather than that of the hotel but would prevent us returning in the summer or Fri/Sat nights as the roblem could be worse. You must be a dog lover as they were in abundace but we are dog lovers so not a problem. Ideal situated for the beach which was great as we were lucky with the weather. Thank you to all the staff we had a pleasant stay.

Thank you for taking the time to review - your feedback is really helpful for improving our service.
I am so sorry you have been woken during your stay - this can be the only down side of town centre locality - please come again and we can offer a room at the back of the property ( not street side) and these tend to be a bit more peaceful. We look forward to welcoming you back.

Thank you very much for reviewing B+B Weymouth. We are really pleased you enjoyed your stay over the Valentines weekend - it is a good time to visit as the town's eateries are all buzzing and usually the weather is cold but dry...! The rooms at the top are lovely and private and have a 'secret' feel to them but please ask for a lower floor next time you book - we will do our very best to allocate the best for your needs. We look forward to welcoming you again.

Dear Guests - thank you for taking the time to review -it matters a lot to the team and we use all feedback as a tool for development. We are really proud to work with a local farmer who supplies all our dairy needs - I can see the farm as I am typing now and we have enjoyed great produce since opening. I am really sorry you felt the eggs not good quality - I will call the farmer later this morning - maybe there has been a change in chicken feed etc. Thank you, once again- with your feedback, we can only improve.
