We were made very welcome on our arrival and Roger was warm and friendly throughout our stay. Bedroom clean and cosy with the usual tea making facilities. Breakfast more than adequate - cooked to order and plenty available including croissants. An honesty bar with a multitude of choice, beers, ciders, spirits and soft drinks with snacks. Plenty of literature of the local area and owner was able to recommend places to eat. Our stay was four nights and towels were automatically replaced after two. Undoubted enhanced our visit to Weymouth.

Room Tip: No great advantage in choosing dearer rooms

many thanks for your kind review, we are pleased that you enjoyed all we had to offer. to respond to your comment, the benefit of our dearer rooms are the beds are kingsize not standard double and the rooms and ensuites are substantially larger, hense giving much more space and luxury for our guests. for example look in rooms 2, 3 & 7 on our website.
kind regards

We chose Ashmira based on great TA reviews & the fact that it was one of the few well reviewed B&B’s we found that had on-site car parking (seems quite a rarity in Weymouth!). Whilst our stay in Weymouth was short at only 1 night Roger made us feel very welcome & was helpful with local eating out recommendations. The B&B location is great & only a very short walk from the beach & Esplanade. The décor is modern/comfortable & our room/en-suite very spacious. Breakfast choices were plenty & what we each had was tasty. We recommend choosing Ashmira should you visit this area of the country.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 7, the Executive Double at the front of the B&B on the top floor.

We had a lovely 2 night stay here just last week. We had the lovely Superior Double, Room 3. The bed was very comfortable. Parking was easy enough and the little touches of mints and biscuits in our room with the coffee/tea making facilities gave us something to nibble on after a day out exploring whilst we chilled out a bit before venturing out for a stroll and dinner. The Honesty Bar was very reasonable and it was nice being able to help yourself and just jot down what you had which we paid for at the end of our stay. Roger was a very gracious host.

Breakfast was a great selection of cereals, fresh fruits, pastries, yoghurt and a choice of jams. There was also a specials board with a nice selection of omelettes, bagels and others as well as the traditional cooked breakfast or egg cooked to your liking on toast and so on all served between 7.30-9.00 am. Papers were available on the sofa at the bottom of the stairs of a morning when you came down and there are a selection of leaflets with some local attractions as well.

Overall a perfect getaway, would recommend to anyone!

What a great little find so close to the beach. A lovely, very comfortable hotel. Roger and his family provide a fabulous, friendly hotel with great rooms, which were lovely and clean with added little touches you'd expect from larger establishments. Huge fluffy white towels, toiletries, morning papers etc. and the food was excellent, so much choice and all freshly prepared. Lovely lounge for guests making you feel you want to go back to the hotel to chill. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed 3 nights and loved every minute. We will be back and will recommend them to all our friends and family. Thank you Roger and Debbie.

Room Tip: All rooms we peeped in on were great some bigger than others. We had room 2 and our friends room 5...

My sister and I stayed at Ashmira for one night in a twin room. The room was spacious and clean and the decor was lovely. After a good night's sleep we went down to what was the best breakfast I have seen so far in England (I'm visiting from oz) with everything you could ever want. No wonder they won the 'Breakfast Award'. Thanks Roger and Debbie for your wonderful hospitality. I would recommend the Ashimra to anyone.

Stayed at the Ashmira for 5 days in the executive double room 7.The accommodation was excellent, very clean and nicely decorated. Fantastic breakfast every morning and i like that the breakfast started at 7.30 and you could go down any time until 9.00. Like Roger and Debbie's little touches, morning newspapers and a honesty bar.Great location only 5 minutes away from the seafront and a walk into town. Ample of road parking on the front of the guest house. I highly recommend this guest house and i will be visiting again when down in Weymouth.

Excellent hosts, great food and accomodation.Very clean. A great place to stay. Roger was very helpful and knowledgable about the local area. Just a five minute walk to the town centre, along the promenade, with its many shops restaurants and pubs. We'll be going back for sure.
