Fantastic location, fantastic view from the room, fantastic high quality food, great facilities. We'll worth a visit.

I found the lodge on the loch experience truly peaceful and relaxing after what was a busy working week away from home for me. So close to the main road but not a whisper of vehicles could be heard. I'm fully intending to stay here again and bring my partner for a weekend break.

My wife and I stayed one night midweek, the room was perfect, great view, comfortable bed and the sauna was the ideal way to unwind. The food and service were excellent. Our only problem was that we wished we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the Lodge for 1 night mid week as part of a week long stay in Scotland. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for something a bit different from the chain hotels. The views from the room were stunning and we were lucky to have a beautiful autumnal sunset which we enjoyed from the hot tub.

We were staying on a tranquillity break and had a very nice 30 minute spa treatment. The rooms were spacious and well equipped and the owners were helpful - offering advice on local walks and the service was very good.

The food was also excellent if a bit on the expensive side but the quality of the food meant that it was worth it.

Overall this was a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay. If I had to change anything it would only be a small thing and a personal choice for us - which is the lack of an open fire/wood burning stove. The dining/bar area was very clean and decorated nicely but lacked ambience and I had imagined sitting by an open fire (this was just an assumption on our part as the website did not give any indication of this).

We would definitely stay again and would recommend to other people

Me and my sister stayed here just to get away from it all. We could not have picked a better place to relax. We had champange in the Hot tub, Spa treatements which were amazing, a lovely meal and a great nights sleep. The owners make you feel so welcome. The views are brilliant and it is so peaceful. We cant wait to come back and share the experience we had with other members of the family. We could not fault anything. Wonderful place, great people and amazing food.

Well where do I begin. My sister and I just got back the other day from a wonderful stay here. Everything was just perfect. We have never felt more at home and the welcome that we received was superb. The room was spacious, clean, warm, comfortable and the views were beautiful. The attention to detail was fabulous. We booked in for spa treatments and it was the most relaxing experience, so peaceful. There is a lovely hot tub which has views over the Loch and also a sauna, which we were both very impressed with. Massive compliments to the chef and the waitress as well. The food was amazing and tasted out of this world the presentation was wonderful and the service was excellent. We both truly felt so comfortable staying here. We couldn't thank the owners enough for everything they did for us and for making our stay amazing! This really is the perfect place to get away from everything, relax and enjoy yourself. If you like beautiful views, fine dining, luxury rooms and a warm welcome the Lodge on the Loch is definitely the best place to go. There is nothing we could fault! We have already booked to come and stay here again In November because it was just fabulous. We are looking forward to our next stay and we would just like to thank everyone again for the most amazing weekend away. We will definitely be recommending to all family and friends. :)

We stayed to celebrate my husbands birthday with his sister and partner and had the most wonderful time. I concur with so many other reviewers about the excellent staff, facilities, food and accommodation.
Tiny weeny gripes ( and I am being picky here I know) no hooks on the back of the bathroom door for dressing gowns or toilet bags and no free shower caps (I'd left mine at home!).

When you approach the Lodge the front is not all that inspiring as obviously the view is at the back over the gorgeous Loch - a little screening of storage buildings etc would do wonders - so don't be put off when you arrive this really is a gem of a place to stay in.
