Lovely meal 4adults and 2 children booked at last minute on a Saturday and was well looked after.
Very busy on a Saturday evening food still came well presented and very tasty.
Salmon Ravioli with lobster, tomatoe sauce excellent others had the rib eye steak and linguine nothing left on our plates.
Children were well catered for at very reasonable prices
All deserts home made a rare thing in some Italian restaurants
Will be back before Christmas

Food was lovely. Beautifully decorated inside. Lovely setting and very nice atmosphere. Been twice now and will definitely return. All staff very friendly. Certainly one of the nicest in the area. Although only slight negative is they don't give you much time between courses so we did ask for a break between main and ordering fester and we then got asked by 6 different waiting staff if we wanted to order! They were not rushing us out for the table either as we had a late sitting. Other than that all well food and drink lovely. Thanks.

we went as a party of 4 and none of us had been before. We booked in advance and got a great corner table, the restaurant is very nicely decorated with plenty of space and comfy chairs. We all had starters including mozzarella, fried mozzarella and garlic mushrooms. All were beautiful and well presented. The mains were fantastic including the liver dish, chicken breasts in a spinach, seafood linguine. We also sampled the Perroni and a bottle of house white, which was also tasty! The service throughout was attentive and I just wished we lived closer to the restaurant to visit more often, thank you.

What a great job has been done to renovate this pub into a lovely restaurant. We were booked for 6pm on table of 4. Great choice on menu plus specials from which each of us had a different meal. We all enjoyed very much what we had. Liver starter was especially nice according to my husband with me enjoying the garlic mushrooms and our friends having tagliatelle and fish cakes. For main courses we had fillet steak with king prawns, chicken with blue cheese, seafood linguine and star of the dishes was the duck from the specials. These had all been enjoyed by 7pm which seemed very rushed to us as we enjoyed a few glasses of wine. We were given the dessert menus and asked by 3 separate members of staff what we would like even though we had asked if we could have a rest before choosing. After allowing time for food to settle we ordered 3 desserts and after just finishing these and enjoying our wine we realised that a large group came in and were seated on the tables next to us of which there were not enough seats. We were then approached and it was explained that the group had turned up half and hour before their booking and could we please move to another table to allow them to be seated and also allow us to enjoy our drinks in a quieter location. I do feel that we were rushed throughout our meal knowing that our table was needed but at no time from booking were we advised of this, if we had been told then we would at least have known we needed to be finished by a certain time and would probably not have had desserts or another bottle wine. The restaurant was extremely busy by now and all credit to them as the reputation of good food has obviously spread. Putting aside how rushed we felt we would definitely return again for a meal as we felt the quality of food was extremely good and service was of a high standard.

This restaurant has been beautifully refurbished from an old (rather grubby!) pub. It is now a modern, beautifully appointed restaurant offering excellent service and the most wonderful Italian food. Everyone in our party of four chose a different dish and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Like others, we noticed that it was full the whole evening - a Thursday! This must be something of a feat for a restaurant in such a small town. Highly recommended.
