Although the admission price initially seems a bit steep there is lots to see here. You could easily spend the whole day here. If you come with children there is lots for them to see and do plus lovely grounds with a small playground.I loved the textiles and the paintings but there is something for everybody.
Had lunch in the cafe- food good and of high quality. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only downside the room was a bit chilly!

We often call in to the cafe and though it isn't cheep the setting is lovely. This time they offered an excellent GF option for my husband who is a Celioac and enjoyed the Burger complete with gluten free bun!

A very large place to visit over 3 floors. Something to suit everyone. Beautiful gardens. Superv vistas to see from the rooms. Lovely tearooms. Staff very helpful. Especially with the less mobile.

Extraordinary building outside and in. The story of the family that established this museum is well told on the intro video, and the collections they bought for this purpose built museum are superb. We loved the costumes and textiles in particular. Couldn't stay for the silver swan but we'll be back.

Loved the museum, went with a friend for a winter day out. I had not been here I a long time, but remembered the sliver swan form when I was little, really enjoyed it all and saw the swan again, still amazing .
I Did not enjoy the cafe, I had the breakfast, it was not very hot, bacon not crispy and the plate ran with grease.
