Reviewed February 2, 2014

As the title says this was an excellent guest house, firstly it was situated in an ideal location, directly opposite the train station if travelling by train and also a car park situated next to the train station, reasonably priced. It was a five minute walk in to the town, with nice shops, bars and restaurants. The guest house itself was spotless, we booked a Superior double room for the two of us, it had 2 single beds and a double bed, plenty of storage space, flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary biscuits and complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast was wonderful, we were asked to request what we would like to eat and when we wanted to eat the night before, which we thought was a nice touch then in the morning you could help yourself to cereals, yoghurts, fruit, fruit juice and toast while your breakfast was being cooked. The owners Jane and John were very helpful throughout our stay, they recommended two restuarants (Akash and Ranch) which we tried and they were both lovely and they also recommended a brilliant bar (White Horse 'Nellies Bar'). We had a brilliant time, lots of nice little touches to make our stay in the historic town of Beverley perfect. We will definitely stay there when visiting Beverley again and would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
