What a fantastic location. Practically surrounded by the sea. Plenty of places to park although I would imagine it gets very busy in summer.
My room was a little dated but in keeping with the rural coastal location and well suited to a stop off for the coast path walk. The food was very reasonable. (Three mixed "sliders" with chips coleslaw and salad...£10).
Beer was also good but the best bit was being 50 yards (MAX) from the sea!
Bet the sunsets are lovely given nice weather.

A stunning position and a most pleasant experience. We had 2 nights with a room -binoculars provided-nice touch -to relax in the evening sun watching the ever changing sea crashing on the fantastic rock formations. Our room was was just fine pleasantly basic. Ideal for us walkers with good friendly service where nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We will visit again!

The hotel is a lot bigger and more active than the south west path book suggests, this is not a bad thing. Rooms are fairly recently redecorated, although masses of water leaked on to the floor from the shower. There are baths in some rooms. Staff were amateur and food was disappointing. Great location, good hotel poor management.

We stayed here for one night whilst I walked the South West Coast Path.
The end room we stayed in had the most magnificent view over the ocean. Truly stunning. The room was large and clean. Had a very pleasant meal. Service was good.

We stayed overnight while we were completing the SW coast path as it is on the route. The room was comfortable and had a lovely view however the price (fixed all year round) was a little expensive at £100. The staff were very helpful and obliging and we had good service the only downfall was the evening meal in the bar/restaurant with my meal (chicken Balti) being very bland and small portions, it tasted and looked as if it had been reheated, (it had been on the menu the previous evening).
