My kids very very sad to hear that their favourite 'Tractor Tom' no longer works at the big sheep. No more silly yet rubbish jokes. (Sad faces)

Hello Geoff, thanks for your review. We are also very sad that 'Tractor Tom' is no longer with us and we do miss his humour and banter. I'm not sure if you are aware that we do not run our tractor during the winter period. However, we do have our magical winter wonderland with magical light show, toboggan, snow board simulator and ice skating.

Hope to see you again soon

Woolly’s Wonderland doesn’t quite sum up just how truly unique and magical the wonderland really is!! The Big Sheep have gone all out this year and created their own special little piece of North Pole magic right here in Bideford.
From entering the Wonderland our kid’s eyes lit up and that special magic of Christmas was everywhere.
The magical lights display was brilliant to watch and seeing my daughter running around and dancing to the music and light show was enough to make you feel like it was truly Christmas early.
On entering Santas house the magic continued. From the Elf waking Santa (taking a nap due to working hard) right down to Santa asking for no sherry this year and saying a drop of bubbly would be nice. My daughter was nothing but smiles.
The gifts were small but thoughtful and she took her toy to bed with her and has found a new “best friend” in it.
Going so far as to hand out you are on Santa’s nice list certificates makes it even more magical.
Once again Rick and the team have proven why they were Winner of Devon Attraction of the Year 2013/2014
For anyone one wishing to believe in the magic of Christmas Wolly’s Wonderland is the place to head.

Awww – thanks a million, what a truly magical review! All our outside team and ‘Creative Colin’ our resident creative genius worked really hard creating this year’s magical winter wonderland and they will be thrilled to hear that all their efforts have paid off.

What a wonderful expression you use ‘The BIG Sheep have gone all out and created their own special little piece of North Pole magic right here in Bideford’ – that is a huge accolade! Our special guest Santa had a wonderful time ‘napping’ and entering into the spirit of Christmas with the children and it’s brilliant that he brought lots of smiles to your daughter and we hope she is still enjoying her ‘new best friend’

Thanks again for such a lovely review. All the ‘Flock’ at The BIG Sheep wish you and your family a happy, healthy and peaceful Christmas and New Year.

We had a fab time here. The facilities are very good, the staff are excellent, really friendly and happy to help make the day a pleasant experience. The customer experience is closest thing to Disney I have come across in the UK!

Hello SomersetRickyDude! - What a fantastic review - thank you so much! It was lovely to read that you had a 'fab' day out when you came to visit. To read that you thought 'The customer experience is closest thing to Disney I have come across in the UK!' is music to our ears. Ric, the director of our flock is passionate about ensuring that the team at The BIG Sheep are always friendly and welcoming and do all we can to make sure we give us guests a great time. Ric also owns a training company and recruits some of the best trainers in the UK so we always get great training from the cream of the crop!

I hope the next time you visit we can impress you even more and hopefully get an additional star on your next review.

Had a very disappointing day out at 'The Big Sheep' today. I appreciate it's not exactly peak season at the end of November, but still.
The only animals we saw were 3 goats; no sheep whatsoever and no other animals. The rides were each open for 1 hour all day despite the site being open all day.
Ewe-topia is one of the worst soft play facilities we've ever been too - loads of much older children (over 10 years of age) charging around and knocking small children over - even in areas clearly designated for 'under 3 ft tall' and 'under 5 years'. One staff member did try to tell some of the older children to adhere to rules of the facility but was totally ignored.
There was a Christmas lights display - a largely empty barn with some Christmas lights linked to music - hardly a main attraction.
To top it all, we paid a (small) additional fee to go on an unmanned tractor ride - which took us less than one entire lap of the track before stopping.
We holiday in North Devon all the time - at least once a year - and this was our first visit to 'The Big Sheep'. It will also be our last.

Hello, thanks for your review. It is always hugely disappointing to read when we have not managed to give our guests a fantastic time at the BIG Sheep when they come to visit. I am very sorry that your enjoyment in Ewetopia was spoilt by the behaviour of some older children. I have now spoken with all the team who work in Ewetopia and pointed out the importance of ensuring that older children do not spoil things for our younger guests. They now understand that if an incident like this ever occurs in the future they are perfectly entitled to ask children to leave if they do not adhere to our rules and regulations.

Unfortunately, you visited our events arena before we finished work on our Winter Wonderland which now includes our ice skating rink, snow board simulator and 12 miles of Christmas lights which are synchronised to Christmas tunes. This area is quite magical and already proving to be very popular with lots of families visiting Santa in his log cabin. I am not sure why your tractor stopped on the track as we had no reports of tractor failure on the day of your visit. We would have been very happy to refund your money or found out why the tractor stopped if you had mentioned it to one of the staff in reception.

It would be such a shame if didn’t come back to visit us again when you are next in Devon and as a gesture of goodwill I would be very happy to offer you a complimentary visit if you would ring me on 07971 696192 and let me have your contact details.

Hello thanks for your review and lovely positive feedback about our shows, attractions and rides. Sorry to hear that you didn’t think there was much to do for toddlers – the little children usually enjoy the animal barn with our resident animals; sheep, lambs, puppies, rabbits, chicks etc. and they particularly enjoy bottle feeding the lambs at our two lamb feeding shows. Our bouncy pillows, under two’s area in Ewetopia indoor play, train and safari is also quite popular with the toddlers as is our duck show which encourages audience participation. I hope your toddler enjoyed having their face painted during our Halloween Festival and had some help with carving a pumpkin to take home.

Many thanks once again for your feedback and taking the time to leave a review and we hope to welcome you and your ‘flock’ back for another visit at some point in the future
