Beautiful b&b the rooms are all individual with beautiful beds. We stayed in Rhinefield which had a stunning 4 poster bed made out if wood. All the furniture is lovely and the staff really friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, small but cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore the forest or just get away.

Lovely accommodation, Fantastic food with the option of an evening meal. Staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 4 nights and so good to find somewhere with a wetroom suitable for a wheelchair. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

We've just returned from two nights at Cottage Lodge. We cannot fault this place - lovely rooms, great service, delicious breakfast and a very welcoming atmosphere. Little touches like the honesty bar and local area info in the 'snug' were lovely. We stayed in the Burley room which has a small terrace. You have the option of pre-ordering breakfast to have it brought to your room (at no extra cost for the room service), so we were able to have breakfast outside. We were also provided with crockery and cutlery when we came back with fish and chips, and were made to feel it was no trouble at all. I was very pleasantly surprised at the good choice of gluten-free options too. The owners have clearly taken such care, it absolutely deserves all the good reviews it has received. Great value and I would recommend without hesitation! We'd definitely stay again if in the area.

Spent a night in this lovely B and B while attending a wedding in the New Forest. Booked fairly last minute and we were allocated the Foresters Room. I can honestly stay this is the best Bed and Breakfast accommodation I have stayed in and cannot fault it. The building itself is quaint and interesting but not cramped with low beamed ceilings and creaky floorboards. Our bedroom was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the bathroom. We had a delicious breakfast served to us in bed and there were tea, coffee and water in our bedroom and cake and a honesty bar available at all times in The Snug. Centrally placed with free parking - you really couldn't wish for anything more and I would definitely stay again. 10/10.

We stayed in the Morant (pet friendly) room with our dog. Our daughters stayed in the Verderers room. Both rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfy which is rare while away. The bathrooms had the essential toiletries which for a B&B is a very nice touch. The welcome/check in was easy and pleasant. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The little snug bar which has fresh milk always is great to make tea/coffee in your room, much better than those little cartons. There was also cake available to help yourself to, which is a lovely touch. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order and there was plenty of choice if you don't fancy a full English. New Forest horses wander up and down the road outside and it is a wonderful base to explore the New Forest from. Loads of places to eat within walking distance from pubs to restaurants and little tea gardens. Plenty of shops too. Would definitely recommend this lovely B&B for a short stay break.

Looking for a last minute stay in the New Forest we found Cottage Lodge on Trip Advisor. There was only one room left and at £60 I was a bit concerned as this seemed cheap compared to other rooms available elsewhere, however I trusted the positive reviews on TA and I was so glad I did. Brockenhurst is the perfect location to stay when visiting the New Forest, it is a lovely village with great cafe's and pubs and of course fabulous walks through the forest.
Cottage Lodge is minutes from the village centre, has plenty of parking and very attractive. We checked in early and had a warm welcome, the fact that there was a small snug with tea and coffee and free cakes and an honesty bar with locally produced wine and beer was a really nice touch. Our room was not large but perfect for a one or two night stay, was very nicely decorated and the bathroom was a good size. Everything had been thought about with plenty of tea and coffee and water in the room, free wfi and a welcome pack with maps, guides and suggested walks. Breakfast was delicious and we were sad we had only booked for one night. Excellent value, very friendly, hopefully we will stay here again soon.

Booked this accommodation months in advance as a birthday surprise for my partner . I picked Standing Hat room which was beautiful and such an amazing bed made from a fallen tree in the New Forest. The room has bamboo wallpaper on one wall and bamboo flooring. The smell every time you came into the room was lovely and so relaxing. Really good shower we usually find the showers in holiday accommodation a bit of a let down ,not very powerful, this one was fine.
Breakfast- fantastic quality, stayed 3 nights and had same breakfast each day delicious!! They cater for special diets which was great for me as I'm gluten free, the breakfast set us up for the day exploring the area. Didn't need lunch or a cake stop in the afternoon either!! All the staff really friendly and professional a real gem in the Forest. We will return.

Room Tip: All very individual. Website has decent photos showing them.
