We opted for one of the set teas and were most impressed at the superb quality, presentation and overall experience. Quite simply it was one of the best afternoon teas we've had, and we've had a fair few! The range of scones and cakes is excellent, as is the choice of teas. They are most plentifully served on and in beautiful bone china crockery, all adding to the experience. Prices are ridiculously low for the portions given. We'd happily return again and again if we lived nearby, which we don't. So for now we will just have to let everyone else know just how good it is. Thanks to Tripadvisor we found this place; long may our recommendations continue!

Lovely place with delicious food in a great location and friendly staff. What more can I say other than first class! The afternoon tea was best I have ever had.

Lovely little bakery with friendly staff. Great choice off cakes, loved the chewy caramel slice! YUM. Well priced too.

Nice to sit outside when it's sunny and people watch.

We popped into the tea house for an early lunch and we were made to feel so welcome. I tried a jacket potato with a couple of the chutneys and a side salad, my wife had the cheese scone ploughmans. The food was fresh and very nicely presented - we particularly liked the cheeky chutney. There was a good choice of teas served in nice china. I struggled with the extensive choice of lovely looking homemade cakes before I settled for the Victoria sponge, which was light, tasty and served as a generous portion. The staff were very kind and friendly.
