We were in Brockenhurst and in need of refreshment when we stumbled across the Secret Garden.
It was like going back in time. A little hideaway with very traditional feel mixed in with a feeling of Great British Bake Off!
2 Marquees set out with tables and chairs with country style tablecloths - in one of the marquees, there are even high back arm chairs! Gramophone style music playing the background and a perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea with homebaked cakes etc!
Very much a traditional english tea garden.

A great 'Very English' tea garden. An amazingly tranquil spot just off the main village high street. A secret garden with a marquee covering a large collection of old England furniture. A tad pricey but worth every penny just to observe the very busy chef in her garden shed.
Superb

Walking around and spotted a chalked sign saying secret garden, walked in to find a lovely garden with white gazebo housing vintage chairs, tables and a fire place all very quaint. A glass of pimms and a cream tea was just perfect in these surroundings. Spot on and well done.

Lovely food and a great place to sit and relax.

Food at the upper end of costs for what it is (£12.50 for crab salad - the dressed crab could be bought with 100 metres for £4.50 retail, so the bit of bread and salad needed to be gold plated!

The shabby chic seating makes for a relaxed and pleasant place to be on a summer's afternoon.

The high tea was good value, unless like me you drink coffee - 1 measly cup for me - 4 cups of tea out the pot for my friend - offer pots of coffee too please!!

Good to see that local produce was used.

Overall, we will visit again when we are in the area

Came across this lovely little hide away. Although the food isn't cheap it is filling and delicious a beautiful little oasis of vintage cuteness.
