Excellent bread and breakfast, rooms are very well decorated with gret touches such as good coffee, cup cakes etc. breakfast is very good and served in a dining room overlooking the garden. Hosts are very welcoming and general advice on location, things to do and places to eat was ver good. A great place and will be recommending to others.

Room was beautiful. Lovely little touches. Complimentary water and proper milk in the fridge for teas and coffees. Loved the little cupcakes on arrival. Felt very welcome, Cheryl and ciaran were amazing hosts and really looked after us. The cooked breakfast in the morning was beautiful. We will definitely love to stay here again.

We've been meaning to write this review since we spent two lovely nights at Daisybank Cottage last weekend - and it is predictably going to match all the others on here! In what is, at first sight, a fairly unassuming (but lovely) arts and crafts house, Cheryl and Ciaran have turned their home into the most stunning B&B you could wish for.

The house is beautifully decorated and homely, the bedroom was perfect (we stayed in the Courtyard suite after a surprise upgrade), but what makes this B&B so special is the little extra touches. The homemade cupcakes in the room on arrival, the unbelievably soft bedlinen, the delicious breakfasts (all made with local New Forest produce and eggs from their own hens), Pumpkin the Huge Cat; there are too many things to list them all.

When we first arrived we were slightly surprised at its location - being so close to the village - but this was actually a real bonus as we could walk in within 15 minutes for evening meals.

Ciaran and Cheryl clearly put a huge amount of care and time into running Daisybank, and they are so hospitable and welcoming we were sad to leave! I even heard some other guests echo this, saying "I don't want to go home!" on their way out.

If we had to find something that wasn't completely perfect, it would be that the water pressure in the shower was a little low - but this is very insignificant given that the bathroom is gorgeous: spacious, modern, spotless and stylish.

This place is worth every penny - highly recommended!

Just got back from two nights at Daisybank which I got my boyfriend for a belated Christmas present. We could not have asked for more. The courtyard suite was beautiful and our english, irish and american pancake breakfasts were unbelievably delicious. The owners were so friendly and it was lovely to meet their cat Pumpkin.

Room Tip: Courtyard Suite is gorgeous, would be particularly nice to stay in in the summer to make full use of...

We stayed in the garden suite - big bed in a big bedroom with a big en-suite bathroom and big fluffy towels. Big breakfasts are served overlooking the big back garden. It's not cheap but for what you get we felt it was worth it.

We've just got back from 2 nights at Daisybank Cottage and were extremely impressed. So many places market themselves as boutique but don't bother with the extra touches that make a stay memorable. The owners here have gone the whole nine yards. Our room was finished to a very high spec with a huge, super-comfy bed, luxurious bed and bath linen, robes and slippers, locally sourced toiletries and even home-made cupcakes on arrival. The breakfasts are great and the service warm and attentive. A lovely experience.

Simply cannot fault this lovely B&B and its owners Cheryl & Ciaran, from the moment we arrived at the gate we were welcomed into their lovely B&B and made to feel 'at home'

We stayed in the courtyard suite; the room itself is slightly smaller than the other rooms we glimpsed in the property but just as luxurious. The bed itself is like sleeping in a marshmallow, really comfortable and ensures a greats night sleep. The quality of everything in the room is exceptional and all the little extra's such as cup cakes and chocolates along with lovely toiletries. Without even asking we were offered wine glasses for the bottle of wine poking its head out of our luggage and everything relating to the run of the B&B was simply explained.

Breakfast is ordered via a selection sheet left outside your door the night before and the choices are impressive, from full English or Irish breakfast or a selection of simpler items such as eggs on toast, beans on toast or delicious blueberry pancakes as well of course as a selection of cereals and juices.

Ciaran the owner was constantly available to offer suggestions of where to go or where to eat,and a large selection of maps and guide books are available to borrow. If you fancy a takeaway they will even set a table for you in the evenings , nothing is too much trouble

Overall a fantastic little B & B which we hope to return to someday , and of course special mention goes Pumpkin the adorable and well behaved cat who definitely stole my heart
