We were booked into Hebasca as part of a landscape photography workshop taking in locations in North Cornwall and stayed for a total of 3 nights.
On approaching the hotel for the first time we weren't quite sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised by the funky modern decor and boutique feel (iwhich extends to the the gents loos..Ladies, staff will give an escorted tour on request)
The staff were warm and welcoming and our room (or dream den as they are referred to in the signage) 212, located to towards the rear of the hotel was both spacious and modern and spotlessly clean.
We ate in the hotel all three nights and the food each night was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the salt and pepper squid starter and mussels main. Steaks were also excellent and cooked to perfection. Breakfast was also delicious, the full Cornish being just right size.
The hotel is located within easy walking distance of town centre, harbour and beaches and sea pool (all about 10 minutes on foot) and many of the honeypots of North Cornwall such as Crackington Haven, Boscastle and Tintagel are all a short drive away.
Staff were all friendly and helpful and hotel has a family run feel and we would definite stay there again when we return to explore more ion this beautiful coastline in future.More
