Fantastic central location in town centre and rooms are nice and clean with everything you expect. Service is good and landlady is very friendly and accommodating, made us feel very welcome. The food is great and good value for money. Will definitely be returning to The Globe Hotel next year!

Went here for pub lunch. Friendly, good service. Lots of people were taking advantage of the sunday roast but we opted for scampi and a chicken and leek pie. Good size portions and vegetables very fresh and not over cooked. Really nice place.

Although this hotel does not do breakfast, it is not a problem because there are many places to eat within walking distance. We received a warm welcome and the accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable. It suited us well because we were on a walking holiday and wanted a very early start before breakfast because of the long trek ahead to Boscastle ( We had our own provisions to keep us going all day)
In all it suited us perfectly and at a budget price. I would definitely recommend this to other walkers.

Visited this place while staying in Widemouth Bay, and had a meal. Service was good, and food very good, and good price. Decided to go back following day with relatives. Seemed fewer staff, so had longer to wait on food, but when it came, again was very good, and worth the money.

My work colleague and I stayed here on two occasions for a week at a time. Location is excellent being in the centre of town, rooms were very clean and comfortable with everything you'd expect..........tv, kettle, tea&coffee and ensuite. Breakfast was a belly filler and the atmosphere in the bar was very friendly. Staff are very cheerful and happy to point you in the direction of good local restaurants. And as for the landlady makes you feel at home, she's up at 7am cooking breakfast with the best poached eggs ever, even happy to clean and iron your clothes if needed. Even offered us a free taxi service to drop us to local restaurants for our evening meal..........brilliant thanks Dicker we will be back :-)

We stayed for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend. Our room was large and clean. So was the en suite. As others have said you get what you pay for and we only paid £55 a night for the room so it would be unfair to expect a luxury experience. The pluses are undoubtedly the friendly staff and the hotel's central location (although it can get a little noisy outside at closing time). The bar area is also fine (although we are still waiting for the tunes we put on the jukebox to be played(lol)). On the down side the towels smelled a little damp and whoever cleaned the room failed to empty the bin or top up the hospitality tray. However I would not let this put you off if you are looking for a budget stay in a good location in Bude.

Room Tip: The en suite in Room 1 has been upgraded compared to other rooms.
