One of the best B and Bs that we have stayed in.
I am sitting in the guests lounge in front of the fire writing this review.
Lovely large ensuite room, with top fixtures and fittings. It also has chairs and table together with fridge and fresh milk.
Fantastic breakfast, and very friendly host Carol.
Bude a short walk along cycleway.
I would highly recommend this B and B, and If we needed to stay in this area again, we would definitely stay here.

Upon arrival we were met by owner Carol who made us feel at home from the start. Our room was the meadow view room the decor was amazing such lovely good quality furniture and bedding. The bed was so comfy. The room was large and had ample draw and wardrobe space. There were two comfy chairs and a coffee table. There was an iron and ironing board, fan and a fridge. The fridge had two bottles of complimentary water and we were supplied with real milk instead of that awful UHT rubbish you normally get in B & Bs. There was a good selection of tea and coffee, a packet of biscuits and some of Carols delicious home baking. The ensuite was large with a powerful shower and lovely soft towels, also supplied were two robes. The cream tea on arrival was fantastic and a lovely touch. Breakfast was all good quality ingredients with lovely free range eggs and proper bread. The selection of fruit, juices and cereals were also good. It is about a ten min walk into Bude but it is flat all the way and the path takes you through a lovely nature reserve. We had a taxi back at night which only cost £4 so don't be concerned about getting back. Carol is so accommodating and could not do enough for us. This B & B is a credit to her and she should be very proud.

Gorgeous room, clean, well presented with every thought put into all the little details. Fantastic location right in the countryside but only 10 minutes walk along the canal or old railway path into Bude. Perfect hospitality from Carol the owner and yummy cream tea on arrival. Combine that with the delicious breakfast and Bagbury Byre goes down in the top ten of best B&B's for sure! We will definitely be back! We came as a small group of friends but would also be perfect for couples and families. Fab!

We are a family of four, my husband and I and our two children age 14 & 12, we came to Bude for a family wedding.
This is a wonderful place with a just as wonderful host, Carol looked after us from the moment we arrived and we had travelled for 7 hours, we all had a delicious cream tea on arrival which was most welcome! We stayed in the Garden Suite which has a handy a joining room with bunk beds for the kids, they even had their own TV in there which was very helpful! The rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfy beds and pillows (I am even going to buy some of the same pillows!),fresh fluffy towels and plenty of refreshments to choose from (even biscuits!), Carol tided and cleaned our rooms every day, Carol even let us hang our wet suits and towels on the washing line. The breakfasts were the best we have ever had, local produce in a lovely setting, and served in the best crockery, attention to detail was second to none!
We had such a great time in Bude on the beaches and hope we can come back soon and stay in this fab B&B, definitely recommend!!

My wife and I stayed for 4 days and had only one regret. We should have stayed longer, much longer. Carol, our hostess, was the best. Everything was as we would have wished. The location was great, the character of the old barn had a charm and comfort rarely found, the cleanliness was clinical and the food brilliantly prepared and served. We will return.

We stayed for 4 nights in the Meadowside room and had a lovely stay. Carol made us feel very welcome and provided a superb breakfast each day. The location was perfect - quiet and rural but only a short 10 minute walk into Bude down a lovely footpath alongside the canal. Our room itself was spotless with a very comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend Bagbury Byre, and a trip to the local independent cinema too if there's something on that you half fancy.
