Food was a big portion and yummy! I had the sausage, eggs, chips and beans. After a long day travelling it was just what I needed. The staff were very friendly and so were the locals.

Thank sez J

The kings arms is a lovely authentic Cornish pub set in the heart of a small village close to the beaches. If you want a proper old fashioned pub then this is the place for you the landlord and landlady are very friendly and so are the locals the food is all home made and delicious, this is one of the most friendly pubs you will come across in cornwall you just have to try it fantastic!

We went into the Kings Arms for a meal in early Oct, which was lovely, both my husband and myself had the Rib eye steaks which were delicious and cooked to perfection. There was a good slection of well kept beers, reasonably priced along with the wine. We would definitely call in for a meal again if in the area. All in all a good old traditional pub.

ok, pub not trendy, or very modern, but, good pub grub, it wil not appear on saturday kitchen, but then again, it really was value for money, the staff were great with us, we went back for the quizz night on the tuesday, and it was packed and we had a really good time with the 'locals', I had the fish and chips which was great, and there wasn't any complaints from other people in our party. There's a Gallery accross the road that is worth a visit also, the artist is in residence and he has a lovely border collie called ruby. We will go back again
