Firstly - book early. I tried to book 2/3 days in advance to be told it was full on each night I requested. However they do have a few outside tables for which they do one sitting at 1830 if it's good weather. Its first come first served for a table and they recommend turning up between 1830 and 1845. We decided to risk going as we really wanted to eat there and turned up at 1825. We got one of the last 3 tables out of about 10. By 1835 all the tables were gone and for the next 2 hours we witnessed lots of people turned up and be turned away, some who were arguing for ages with the staff to see if there was anything they could do - sign of a great restaurant!
Location is amazing, the outside tables are perfect for a sunny evening. You can watch the surfing and the sea and after dinner you can drink on the terrace directly below and feel even closer to the action.
Food was fantastic. Good sized portions, expertly cooked and fantastically presented. Hats off to the Head Chef as the food really was outstanding. Food is so good that we were full up by dessert but we could have managed some good Cornish ice cream. Unfortunately its not on the menu (the only negative to the experience) which was a shame.
Great experience, book early or be prepared to turn up and risk it for the outside tables.
