Tried this pub on the last day of our holiday in Bude, a sunny bit windy day thought it would be nice to sit on their terrace in the afternoon sunshine with a local ale and take in the views of Widemouth Bay. It was as good as we'd hoped and we liked it so much decided would stay on for an early dinner (about 6.30). We went in to find a table only to be told they were fully booked! But luckily on checking someone had just cancelled so we got the only table but it was in a nice spot and we could still see out to the view. The tables right by the window at the front are of course the best and most popular! Nice beachy décor inside, friendly staff and felt very relaxed. The food was lovely - I had fish and chips and it was the best I've ever had, beautiful fish and batter. My little girl really enjoyed her childrens meal and ate all of it which doesn't normally happen. Also outside there is a decent kids play area and inside they had colouring available for kids to do. Prices were reasonable too compared to many other places we'd been/looked at whilst in Cornwall. Very good value, good vibe and great views would definitely recommend a meal here.
