We stayed here for a week in June. Fantastic weather, beautiful area, excellent accommodation.
Found a brilliant vegetarian/ vegan restaurant in Stirling called Roots. Also had cruelty free eggs from the free range hens at Bousd.
All the animals have forever homes and are well looked after (and it's not a petting zoo). Although we did feed the hens and massaged the pigs with Jo.
A brilliant holiday and we hope to be back next year.

We were very impressed with the quality of this holiday home. It has been finished to a very high standard and feels very comfortable - a real home from home. The owners are very friendly and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Our 2 children (aged 7&5) loved the outdoor space exploring the garden & playing cricket & football. The games & books provided in the living area are a lovely touch. The kitchen is very well equipped for self catering & the local area is conveniently within walking distance for anything you need. The local park is great for the kids to explore with a mini golf, playground & duck pond to feed the ducks. Within a short driving distance is Loch Lomond, a play farm & safari park. Great accommodation for a family.

We had a lovely stay at Bousd. The accommodation was fabulous, modern and spotlessly clean. We had sunny and warm weather during our stay and took advantage of the many walks that are easily accessible from Bousd. There is a lot to do in the area with access to the national cycle route and canoeing on the Teith, as well as an abundance of coffee shops with delicious cakes or the local bakery with speciality breads if you need a wee treat. If you get a chance to take a drive up to Balquidder it’s worth a visit to Mhor 84 for lunch or dinner – the food is excellent. During your stay make sure you ask your hosts Joanne and George if you can go and say hello to their pigs and chickens, the pigs will enjoy getting their ears scratched and you might be able to feed the chickens!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely cottage in a great location ,great view, field, sheep , hills and beautiful and interesting places to visit within easy reach , many of which we discovered by browsing through the leaflets left for us by the owners- e.g.The David Marshall's Lodge at Aberfoyle .- super place . The accommodation is 1st class with spacious living area, very well- equipped kitchen and quality furnishings and appliances. There is plenty of comfortable seating and a 'super-comfy' bed- so comfy that we slept through until 8.45 one morning which has never been known ! Also there is good storage available in the kitchen and bedrooms. On a personal note , I had intended to take my lemon/ orange squeezer with me for fresh orange , mentioned to the owner that I had forgotten it - who promptly brought her own over for me to borrow. Thanks, Jo- appreciated that ! We have stayed at many self- catering places over the years, both here and abroad and can definitely say that this is up there with the best. Kath and Ed.
