My hubby and I have just returned from a three night trip to Callander and had a lovely stay in the Kirtle Room at Roslin Cottage. Although the room looks out over the main road it has secondary double glazing so we had no issues with traffic noise. The room is a comfortable size and has everything one would want to hand. I did notice that of the three rooms one is quite small but it is a cottage after all with the added charm that brings and the people who left the bad review where being very unkind as the size of the rooms is also reflected in the price. Lucy and Sid have a sitting room and a garden in better weather for guests so there is certainly no shortage of space. Could not fault the hospitality of our hosts or their breakfast, served in an attracive dining room, in any way. Overall a five star experience.
