Pete and Katie have only recently taken over and renovated this lovely old home to an extremely high standard. The house is lovely.

The bedrooms are very comfortable all finished with exquisite taste the wall papers, cushions, curtains are all absolutely beautiful, you have a feeling of light and air when you walk in the door. There's also a lovely guest lounge to relax in, with sofas, chairs and TV.

There is free wifi which is fast and reliable.

The breakfasts prepared by Pete were delicious and very generous.
There was a great selection of fresh fruit salad, cereals,
juice, and a freshly cooked Scottish breakfast. two eggs, sausage, bacon, black pudding, hash browns, tomato. The owners couldn't have been more helpful.

Both Katie and Pete are great hosts and have made their home into a very welcoming place.

This B&B is one of the best we have stayed anywhere in Scotland over the years.

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely.

We stayed there for 2 nights recently and we couldn't fault it. The house was stunning, rooms beautiful, no expense has been spared on furnishings.
We stayed in the superior room which was priced at £70, excellent value for money. The other two rooms were slightly smaller, one double and one twin.
The owners, Pete & Kate couldn't do enough to help us and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day.
We will definately return.

New owners and completely redone, this is definitely a beautiful place to stay. The nice size rooms are very comfortable, and the owners certainly go out of their way to make you feel welcome. If you're visiting this beautiful region, don't hesitate to reserve here.
Un bed and breakfast très agréable, qui vient de s'ouvrir. Bon accueil, nouvelles chambres, très jolies salle de bains. Nous vous conseillons cet endroit, n'hésitez pas!

Coppice House (previously the Coppice Hotel) had only been open for a month under its new management when we visited. We were lucky to find a vacancy as we were just passing through Callander and looking for somewhere to stay. Coppice House is on the outskirts of the town, easy walking distance to pubs and restaurants but still fairly quiet at night.

The rooms have been recently refurbished, and as well as the comfortable bedrooms there's also a huge guest lounge to relax in, with sofas/chairs/tv. We had the place to ourselves so we could really spread out, but this would be a particularly great facility for two couples travelling together. Breakfast was a great selection - we had pain au chocolat, fresh fruit salad, cereals, juice, and a freshly cooked Scottish breakfast (one veggie and one not). The owners were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, and we'll certainly visit again.

Room Tip: There are presently two rooms - one double and one twin - so choose according to how you want to sle...

Rachel you were our first review as the new owners of Coppice house and you really set the wheels in motion as far as we were concerned with the following reviews we have received. I was not going to reply to reviews but have had a change of heart for this coming year so just wanted to write and thank you for all your kind comments which really made us feel proud.

We hope all is well with you and that perhaps we may see you again in the near future.

Best wishes to you both from Pete & Katie

The Coppice is very close to Callander town centre but is set back from the road so not too noisy. We received a very friendly welcome from Ann and she couldn't do enough for us. The room was comfortable and clean and we slept extremely well. Breakfast was excellent. Very tasty and freshly cooked.

Thanks Ann. We will return

We stayed here on our first night cycling from Glasgow to Inverness. We were made very welcome straight away and the owners make you feel like one of the family. The house is beautiful and the rooms are very clean. The house is right on the main street through Callander and there are plenty of places to eat/drink nearby. The breakfast was very good. The only gripe is that the shower was a bit dated but this was a minor issue. Overall this was an excellent B&B.

Stayed here for a weekend away and really enjoyed it. The hotel has recently been bought over and is currently being totally refurbished by the new owners. Crisp white bed linen and towels are testament to this. Our room was large with nice furniture and a comfy bed. Decent sized bathroom too with plenty hot water. Toiletries were supplied and there are tea/coffee facilities in the rooms too. Ample parking space at the front of the hotel and a short walk along the street to the shops. The hotel has a nice bar and separate dining area. Breakfast was great - lovely local sausages. We will be back.
