This is a special little place in an old church with a wood burning stove. Really welcoming, and the staff are friendly. The service is excellent, as is the range and quality of food. The atmosphere is relaxed and relaxing. Something out of the ordinary and well worth the 50 yards detour from the main street. Unusual and characterful.

Also, an excellent range of local foodstuffs in the deli section.

Went for sunday brunch with my 85 year old Dad. It is as the name suggests a Deli as well as a cafe/ bistro type restaurant. All home made food from the soup to the magnificent cakes and sweets. You are sitting in a shop though and people are up and about browsing the produce round about you. we had no problem with that. My dad and I both had soup and a toastie from one of the wall blackboards. The price was £5.95 each which for the standard of the food was very good value for money. It was Thai style chicken noodle soup and my dad had the cheese and tomato toastie while I had the tuna mayo. The soup was full of flavour and arrived piping hot - delicious. The toasties were on a lovely brown wholemeal bread and there was plenty of filling.
The staff were a bit off I thought, although the lady who runs it (Julie) was very friendly to everyone, the others only seemed to interact with their regulars. The tables could have been cleared quicker. This may only have been because they were full at the time we visited and were turning people away.
I would recommend it and I would return. I loved the food. Give it a try if they have an empty table.

You may miss this one it’s just off the main street and to the right of the Rob Roy Center as another reviewer has said, this small good looking building date back to 1878 and is just as good inside too,
Now if you want to fill yourself for the day try the Big One 7 items that comes with tea and toast for £6.50
Also inside there is a deli counter as the name of the place suggests plus Jams etc; all around the seating areas

100% Will be back

Tucked away next to the Rob Roy Centre is this delightful deli/coffee shop. We always stop here every time we are in Callander. The staff are very friendly, the snacks are always good and the cakes are delicious. They offer a wide range of unusual food items and you never leave the shop empty handed. There are a few tables outside where you can enjoy the sun on a good day.

Very pleasant café, with a wood-burning stove in winter. Open from 8 to 5! Not only gluten-free and lactose-free baking, but a couple of cakes that are both. Julie and Lynn couldn't be more welcoming. Best cafe in Central Scotland.
