“Lovely Deli and coffee shop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2012

Tucked away next to the Rob Roy Centre is this delightful deli/coffee shop. We always stop here every time we are in Callander. The staff are very friendly, the snacks are always good and the cakes are delicious. They offer a wide range of unusual food items and you never leave the shop empty handed. There are a few tables outside where you can enjoy the sun on a good day.

“Delightful, friendly café”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2012

Very pleasant café, with a wood-burning stove in winter. Open from 8 to 5! Not only gluten-free and lactose-free baking, but a couple of cakes that are both. Julie and Lynn couldn't be more welcoming. Best cafe in Central Scotland.

“Great place for out of hours eating”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2012

I spent 4 days walking and cycling in and around Callander and frequently called at DeliEcosse to stock up before setting off and on returning from a trip. Gluten and dairy-free were no problem at all; soup, rolls, cakes were available and were delicious, freshly made to order to eat in and take away. Lovely old building at the back of the square, good atmosphere, full of locals and visitors...suited me perfectly. Open 7 days a week, 8am to 5.30 so good for breakfast or picking up a snack before catching a bus.

“Fab food and service and very baby welcoming”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 30, 2012

What a lovely find for someone who grew up on Sunday drives to Callander. The food was excellent and very good value for money and, along with great service, achieved a triple whammy you don't often find in Scotland. They couldn't have been more welcoming to two mummies and their babies, which was doubly nice considering their space limitations. Will be back!!
