“Good spot for a short coffee break”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

We stopped here for a coffee, the tea room was quite busy and we enjoyed looking around the shop. The waitresses were very pleasant and helpful. The prices were acceptable.

“Coffee break”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Pleasant service, good choice, but not very pleasant sitting outside , bit like a messy service station.

“Staffed by saints”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

The store is a worthy stop on its own if heading up the picturesque A84 west of Callander/Stirling .... However when you lock your rental car key in your "boot", the already friendly staff turns into a group of angels! Hamish the Highland Cow not so much... I think he was laughing at us!

“Ok for a technical stop”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

On our way to Loch Ness, the bus has to stop there. after 2 hours from Edinburgh, it was good to stretch our legs and have a coffee. this is not a fine dining restaurant. the shop along the coffee shop offers decent stuff at decent prices. It is also the photo opportunity for Hamish, the famous Highland Cow. Apparently this cow is a local star and if he's not too tired, he will come to see you at the fence and you can feed him.
nothing exceptional to comment about the place itself. toilets are not the cleanest in the country
