I am a tour guide and have often eaten at the Lade Inn, Kilmahog, as it is a wonderful place to take visitors to Scotland to experience Scottish produce cooked and presented beautifully. They also have a fine selection of real ales which are worth trying. You can have a tasting selection before you decide on what to accommpany your meal. The menu choice is extensive with something to suit all tastes including Scottish specialities like haggis and cranachan. If you are going ith a large group you can pre-order the menu choices which makes for a smooth running meal without waiting. Try the Lade Inn for lunch or dinner you will not be disappointed. Enjoy! Slainte mhath!

We spend a very fine evening among friends and Scotland lovers ! Very good meal ! It was friday evening the 24th of june and we enjoyed the fantastic Scottish folk-group "Pure Malt'. Beautiful songs from Dylan over Clapton to the historic Scottish ballads. Outstanding.

We chose this pub as the choice of real ales had been recommended to us. For those who drink real ale they were very impressed. The shop has a fantastic selection of real ales from all over Scotland.
We met up with old friends for lunch. I had the baked potato with haggis which was very tasty.

Visited here for a late lunch, walked from Callander (15 mins) and was well worth it.

Warm welcome, lovely pub/restaurant, excellent selection of drinks, try the lade out!!

We both had the big burger with cheese, massive burger and lots of salad/chips, was excellent.

Possibly a bit expensive but well worth it!
