Fantastic views, and great service at this little beauty in the beautiful Trossachs. I would invite Mary Berry from the Great British Bake Off to try the Victoria Sponge, however shewould most likely retire as she would never taste a better one than this.
Moist, light, and so tasty my mouth is watering again just thinking about it.

Well worth a visit.

Thank Charlie R

Because of other reviews we booked ourselves in for an evening meal with our son.
Wonderful setting, beautiful looking out onto Loch Venacher.

Choice of three soups for starters, my chorizo, mushroom, courgette and wild garlic broth was nice if a bit busy, but I wished I had gone for my husbands scallops, they were amazing.
Both our main courses of fish and lamb were of a very good quality and my son enjoyed his fish and chips. They serve the childrens menu in the evening which is good news.

Desserts were a slight disappointment as it was the cakes from the counter, they were nice but would have been good to have something more dessert like as well.

I'd like to go back during the day as the place has a relaxed vibe and a good day time selection.

Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and presentation, I wish we lived a bit closer as we'd go there very often.

Called in purely by chance driving from Callander to Aberfoyle by the scenic route. Last day of a week's holiday in Aberfoyle with our little cairn terrier, Hattie. It was a bright sunny day, and we could see outside tables and chairs where we thought we should be able to sit with the dog. We were not disappointed, the staff were very welcoming, and broiught us a bowl of water for Hattie. Not really very hungry, we decided on a glass of wine, then checked the wine list and menu...
A bottle of Malborough Sauvignon Blanc and shared boards of meat and cheese later, (Driver only had one glass) looking out over the loch, the vote was one of the fop five memorable lunches in our experience. A perfect last day of the holiday.

Warm welcome, good food and service. Get a window seat for a view and if it is calm rent a boat for an hour .
