Amazing welcome by Ania and Mac with tea and cakes. Everywhere spotless No dust to be found. Clean towels with biscuits and mints replenished each day. Breakfast what a feast kept us going all day. Better than any hotel we have stayed in. Would have no hesitation in recommending Annfield to any of our friends and family, Hope to be back soon. Janet and Trevor.

We chanced upon this truly wonderful B & B during our recent road trip around Scotland, and have been thanking our lucky stars ever since!

Set in a beautiful Victorian house dating from 1875, Annfield Guest House is simply a superb place to stay with easy access to the town centre, loads of off-street parking, and the use of a lovely guest lounge. Our double room with ensuite was all we could wish for - beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with an immaculate modern bathroom (which although smallish was ingeniously designed to accommodate all our needs). Ania and Mac were wonderful hosts - warm, friendly and welcoming. Mac is a chef and we were greeted with a cup of tea and a selection of his home-made, mouth-watering gourmet pastries - does it get any better? Breakfast was wonderful - a fantastic range of cereals, fresh fruit and yogurts etc accompanied by a superb cooked selection all served piping hot.

Annfield House proved a wonderful place to stay. I think it would suit those looking for a pleasant base to explore this beautiful part of Scotland, but would also be a lovely place to just chill out and relax in, perhaps as part of a romantic get away... We loved our evening here and would happily stay for a week!

Room Tip: Our room - 7 - was superb but was at the top of two flights of steep stairs. You may want to leave...

Our room was spotless, no silly bowls of dusty pot pourri, or flapping drapes around the bed, just fresh carpets, curtains, bedlinen, tea tray with 2 packets of lovely Borders biscuits and a small but perfectly formed shower room. Breakfast was abundant and really special, with Ania waiting in the dining room, Mac cooking up a storm in the kitchen and a sideboard loaded with beautiful fruit, bread, cereals, juices and yoghurts it really set us up for the day. Ania and Mac have mastered the art of B&B! There was a large comfortable lounge for guests, the house is in a quiet street near the centre of town with plenty of parking space on the drive. Our only regret, we only booked one night, and unfortunately ended up being royally ripped off on our other night at a B&B near Strathyre - beware!

We stayed 2 nights at Annfield and wished we could have stayed at least a week.
Mac and Ania are superb hosts. Mac's cakes are delicious (I am yet to attempt his Tarte Aux Noix- thanks for the recipe Mac!). Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated as was all of Annfield House. Breakfast was superb -delicious fresh fruit and the yummiest scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.
Callander is a delightful town we would have loved to have had time to try a few of the cycle tours. Great meal at the Crags hotel.
Thank you Mac & Ania

Our visit to Annfield Guest House was to be a one night stop on our visit to Callander but we loved staying there so much we stayed for three nights. Mac and Ania were welcoming and had suggestions for day outings. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.

This was now our third stay at Annfield Guest House and we were welcomed by Mac and Anna as old friends. The highest standards of comfort, cleanliness, decoration and amazing breakfast remains as before.

If this is what you are looking for in a B&Bor small boutique hotel look no further!

We stayed here with our baby daughter and Mac and Ania could not have been more accommodating. Tea and cakes on arrival served in our gorgeous room and a scrumptious breakfast in the morning. This is a wonderful place to stay if you ever fancy a night in Callendar.
