“Very enjoyable”
Reviewed October 27, 2012

A casual restaurant - fish n'chip shop - fishmonger serving a modern, trendy menu. A bit of a one-off; we've not come across this setup anywhere else, but it does work very well. Good, hearty fish based soups & chowder, a good 'specials' board. Hot, tasty food served nicely but without ceremony. Not particularly comfortable, but you wouldn't go there for a romantic evening! They serve the wonderful sourdough bread from their bakery across the road with some dishes. High quality with no frills. Excellent.

lovely little restaurant with great atmosphere.
Nice selection of fresh fish and fish alternatives, even the black pudding was good.

A wide range of fresh fish sourced in Scotland, this is my local fishmonger too. The food is very French and delicious.

“Seafood special”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

Went here on Sunday and had a memorabe meal. Nice to see somewhere trying to be a bit different and using sustainable fish in it's cooking. I had salt and pepper squid and a fish burger that were both fantastic followed by an amazing creme brulee with home-made shortbread. Will definately be back here

“Excellent Meal”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, freshly cooked food that is beautifully presented. Although there is no kids menu, the staff are happy to provide half portions of all the meals for kids. Mine loved the fish and chips.
