The journey to this pub/restaurant is tortuous with narrow lanes, blind bends but also beautiful green Devon countryside. But keep going, keep a sharp lookout for signs and be rewarded by a super food experience in a delightful Inn. The service was excellent and discreet, it was good value for money and the general ambience was superb.
This is a place one would want to return to again and again. Buried deep in a small village this pub has local patronage and a loyal following which hopefully will ensure it survives but long winter nights must surely be problematic.
