It was standard Brewer's Fayre food. We ate from the standard menu because the 'eat all you want' buffet looked tired and lacking in selelction and food. We started with the combo feast which was of a high standard, there was plenty of food for the main, but the dessert left a lot to be desired; we had the profiteroles unfortunately the cream on the side was sweetened and the cream inside the profiteroles was liquid.
The cost was reasonable for the amount of food provided. However the tables are placed very close together so it was vey cramped. We did have a table booked (via the internet) but this was not known about by the restaurant staff which may have been the cause of packing us into a corner.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful and showed enough interest in us that may us feel respected.
