Wanted to avoid weekend traffic out of London, so stayed here as an overnight stop before a week in a beach hut on Mudeford Sandpit. We were traveling with our two little dogs and the room we were given in the coach house was great for this. It was large and on the ground floor. One entered directly from the outside and there were shaded parking spaces right outside the door as well. So convenient. The decor was a bit tired, but they had spent money where it mattered. The bed was comfy, the windows had black out blinds and the bathroom fixtures were modern with a powerful shower. There were also some nice little touches, such as real coffee to brew, a selection of biscuits and even different, but coordinated coffee mugs, so one didn't get the other persons brew! The management and staff were very friendly and helpful to boot and the cooked breakfast wonderful.

we arranged to meet friends for dinner early on a hot sunday evening, staff were friendly and attentive and service was reasonably quick. Three of us had the roast beef dinner and one the pork roast and all meals were lovely, hot and with plenty of vegetables. My only gripe i think would be that i thought it was quite expensive for a sunday roast but it was so nice for a change to have a plentiful well cooked meal served in a reasonable time, well done

We wanted a place where we could take our dog. When I booked, all the rooms for dogs were taken but they managed to find us one on the second floor. The room had everything you could want, plenty of lovely toiletries and a varieties of beverages. Hot choc, decaf & regular coffee, filter coffee, teas, bottled water. The bed was very comfortable. We ate in the evening and the food was good and breakfast was great, plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return.
