Popped in for lunch after a walk around Christchurch quay. I had a chicken and prawn 'Superfood' salad with some bubbly and my boyfriend had Moules marinière with chips and a beer. The salad was so delicious - the prawns were as big as my thumb and accompanied by a zingy dressing, avocado, tomatoes, mixed leaves and seeds. The mussels (and there were a lot of them!) were really nice too - plump and fresh with a creamy sauce and plenty of chips.
We then shared a blondie and ice cream for dessert, which was nice but didn't blow me away (perhaps because they're my signature bake at home!)
Main courses were around £15 but there was a slightly cheaper bar menu too.
Nice relaxed, beachy ambience with wood and a lovely sun terrace circling the indoor restaurant. When it got a little too hot, the staff extended the blinds to shade us from the sun.
Lovely lunch, we'll be returning soon!
