Owner description: You'll never be at a loss for something to see and do in the Forest of Dean. With the natural environment, fascinating history and heritage, an array of attractions and activities you can feed your minds and tire your bodies, but will there be enough time to fit it all into one holiday? - Forest of Dean & Wye Valley Tourism Association.

One of the most beautiful parts of the country, especially in autumn. Theres lots to do here and lovely woods to wander, theres miles of cycling which is safe for kids as vertually no roads to cross. Its great to have this on our door step and with the market town of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth nearby - what a great place for a holiday or just a weekend break - or if your not too far away a day out. Great picnic sites especially Beechenhurst with a lovely little cafe.

so many places hidden away that you discover whilst you are exercising be it walking, mountain biking or just driving around looking for the little piece of peace and quiet.

This is an annual MUST! The colours are wonderful and the roads through the forest are easily navigable by car for my Mother who has limited mobility.
A spectacular trip.
