“a nice evening with the family”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2013

hi all
i went to the honeybee a few weeks ago ,and there was a mixed group of 12 old,and young.
whilst we have been here a few times, and the food is okay .just a couple of pointers hopefully to help make it just that bit better.i had the big one (the biggy steak ) whilst this was £ 23.00 i just feel a little bit of finishing touches needed.i.e.it could have come with more than a piece of lettuce, and half a tomato.for this price just a token of onion rings ,and better garnish.it is not that im greedy ,but prestitation is the key.i have to say the steak was top class cooked to perfection.it is just the final look on the plates which let it down a bit .we took young children as well ,and they was looked after top notch.all in all a nice evening out ,but just a bit more detail in the finishing touches.i know you can buy side orders ,but on a big steak meal i feel it should be on the plate??? not that im a greedy person ,but i would forgo the chips for a better salad/onion rings but go with the confidence that the staff, and food is good for the money.try the big steak it is so nice .i will of course be going again ,as it is steak heaven!!!!!!!!!

Absolute beautiful pub food cooked to perfection and pud just absolutely delicious as always I highly recommend to everyone don't understand the poor reviews on here they can't be talking about the same place.

“Great night great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

Six of us from work all went to The Honey Bee on Wednesday night. We were welcomed by the friendly staff. We hadn't booked as it was midweek, but it was quite busy. We had a drink in the nice lounge area while a table was sorted for us. We all had something different from the menu and every meal was lovely. The staff were really helpfully and attentive. A great night was had by all... We will be back

“Never coming back !!!!!!!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2013

This place is a let down i had the most terrible time and the meal was crap ! when the manager came over to us he spoke to us like we where children and tried blaming my father over the under cooked food. The manager never said sorry to us and watched us when we was finishing our drinks. The only good thing about the experience was waters that we had a laugh with.

Your meals can't of been that bad as your plates were clean when you left Mrs G.

“crap”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2013

went out for a meal with family ordered a medium steak , it came to the table like shoe leather .
my wife ordered the pound of lamb chops medium to well , they came to the table running round the plate i think a good vet could have revived them . my daughter had a bacon cheese burger that was dry and did"nt look apealing ,reported it to the manager who told me it was my fault and that was that .
if you want a nice meal try some were else !

just one more word to say and thats crap !
