“Brilliant pub...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2013

We didn't actually eat here but called in en route to the West Country for a quick half. Brilliant place, great atmosphere & very friendly staff..... Droitwich is a hidden gem & we plan to call back on our next visit to the South West, hopefully eating here on our next visit.

“What a little gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2013 via mobile

Myself and my husband had lunch here and were spoilt for choice at what to have. We opted for burgers and were not disappointed they were perfect. Staff were excellent and service was quick and efficient. Will be my treat next time....which will be pretty soon. If you are passing pop in you won't be disappointed.

“Totally recommended.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

Popped down from Birmingham to meet friends here (my second visit) for a meal. What a great night! Excellent choice of real ales, great food and great fun as we turned up on the night they had a brilliant quiz. Would definitely recommend and will certainly return, probably on a Wednesday to have another go on the quiz!

“How do they do it for the price?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013

Firstly, this is not haute cuisine, nor an elegant or sophisticated establishment. What it is, is a small, very small, pub, with a cosy and friendly little bar, decent beer, and a tiny restaurant, (although you can eat from the restaurant menu in the bar as well). The menu is very wide, and everything seems home cooked, no hint whatsoever of pre-prepared stuff. We just had dinner for 5, starters and mains, generous portions, nothing extraordinary, but all well received, particularly the huge starters, everyone satisfied, and a bill under £80 including a bottle of wine and a couple of pints.
For me, any review is about value for money, and I really don't know how they do it for the price.

“Everything a local pub should be and much more”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2013

A very pleasant surprise, just a shame I live 125 miles away. A true warm and friendly pub with excellent value and quality food. The true star of the show is the service, if all pubs could emulate this the institution of the British pub would be in rude health.
