Good service and makes a good place for a welcome rest on the riverside walks and to the Memorials. Part of the National Trust and is a good starting point to park and return to after taking the walks

The only place i could find open, and what joy!,a full english breakfast, just what was required to soak up my over indulgence from the night before.packed out with all and sundry, obviously a haunt of locals, and i can see why...good quality cooked food at a competitive price, i will definitely return.

We looked up cages on Trip Advisor and found this little place. It's a nice place to visit if you want somewhere out of the hustle bustle and the staff are more than accommodating. We couldn't find the place so rang twice and the lady was happy to guide us in road by road although already busy in the TeaRoom, the food was well presented and all of a good standard, the vegetarian breakfast was limited but they had a large choice for vegetarians so I was content!
Would visit again

Went with wife and kids, it was ok a tea room goes but nothing special. Cheaper but not an inforgettable experience by any stretch of immagination.
Food, service, atmosphere were average.
Wouldn't bother going back if not close by.

We love these Tea Rooms which we visit most weeks. You won't find a better full breakfast anywhere - piping hot and lovely local produce too. Richard and his team are lovely and youu'll come away with a smile.
