Stayed here for a weekend with friends. The renovation of this building has been very tastefully done with great attention to period detail.
This cottage has everything you need for a self catering break, but if you feel like going out, Fivemiletown has a couple of nice bars and Eniskillen is only a taxi drive away.
We had a lovely few days at The Brook. It is beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and all you need for a delightful visit to this part of the world. It is close to the main road, so does not feel secluded, but we didn't notice the traffic and the views from the sitting room window are still delightfully countryside.

We stayed here in early June. The house was beautiful, we actually nicknamed it the doll house it was so gorgeous. We stayed here with two children and four adults. Rooms were amazing with plenty of room for everyone. There is a small outside play area for the children to play on. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to cook a family meal in. The fire in the sitting room created a beautiful ambience. It was a pleasure to stay at this holiday house.
I just returned from a stay here with my wife, mum and dad, my sister her husband and 2 kids (4 and 7) and 3 dogs between us!
The house is easy to find just 2 miles outside Fivemiletown on the road to Enniskillen. We stayed over the Easter break and our host had left little Easter cookies and mini eggs for the kids which was a nice touch, plus loads of toys and board games which the kids loved.
The house is an old 1700's home which has been recently refurbished to a high standard and feels lovely and relaxing. There is everything you need for self catering plus a great wood burner and also wifi which while not super fast, was more than fast enough for use to watch Now TV/Netflix etc. just bring a Chromecast and iPad or whatever device you have with you and you will be sorted. Plus there are DVDs and Freeview supplied.
From a location point of view you are beside fivemiletown which has a few small convenience stores and then Enniskillen is not far which has larger Tesco type shops. We also went to the National Trust property Castle Coole which is about a 20 minute drive away as they had an Easter Egg hunt for th kids, but is also just nice for a walk or to tour the big house.
The only downside to this house is that the windows are all single glazing, which cannot be helped as I imagine they are not allowed to upgraded due to planning restrictions with it being so old. You are about 50 yards away from a fairly busy road and so the traffic can spoil the silence if you are after a very quite country retreat, but it didn't bother us.
I would recommend for families. And they are dog friendly which is a big plus :)

We stayed for 2 nights in March. This is a very attractive property, well appointed with excellent facilities and beautifully decorated. Lovely clean crisp white sheets and an range.
It's located to the west of Enniskillen about 15 minutes away. There is a Tesco (open 24 hours) that's close by just on the outskirts of Enniskillen. The house is on the A4, great access to the rest of the county, a little noisy if you're a light sleeper, but otherwise a great location. Sleeps 8 comfortably, and I must say one of the nicest holiday homes I have stayed in. Highly recommended
Wow what else can I say that hasn't been said already !! Amazing cottage, beautifully decorated, well located and every need catered for. We spent Halloween holidays here and the cottage was spookily decorated with sweets and cakes ready for our arrival. Will definitely be back really enjoyed ourselves . Thank you
Fantastic holiday home. House had everything you needed and more.decorated to a very high standard. Close to Enniskillen town.
