“Harmony in the Countryside”
Reviewed September 26, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

This was our favorite rental during a month long trip in Ireland! The cottage is delightful, roomy, comfortable and with many nice amenities. We arrived after a difficult journey which included a flat tire and a tow truck ride, so not in the best of moods. Walking into Leggin Cornmill & Cottage was like walking into heaven. Owners, Lillian and Ivan, have done a wonderful job restoring the cornmill, but also creating a wonderful vacation cottage with many nice extras. It is easy to locate with a nice access to the surrounding area. My only regret was that we were not there longer.

This would be a great rental for larger groups, I would also recommend this for families traveling with children. There was a crib, toys, games and lots of room.

Lillian was so nice and accommodating. We left an item behind and she and Ivan called within a couple of hours of our departure.

“A unique property, ideal holiday for a young family.”
Reviewed September 3, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We spent a week at the Leginn Cornmill and Cottage in July 2014 and had a wonderful time in this unique property. A family of 4 with 2 young kids there was loads of space and lots to do whether relaxing at the cottage or out about in the Fermanagh countryside. The cottage is so well appointed it was like home from home and the Cornmill renovation makes it like nowhere else we have stayed; and it was excellent value for money. The owners were always very friendly and helpful both regarding the property and the surrounding area. The kids adored the various animals so much that they miss them and want to go back next year.

“Stunning can't wait until we return!”
Reviewed July 30, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We arrived and thought wow. Every room is lovely, everything you could wish for is there. We absolutely love this beautiful home away from home. The owners were so welcoming and so helpful. If you are thinking of staying in the area you should definitely try to make this place the one you stay in.

“Great House for families, Host very helpful”
Reviewed July 28, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We were a family of 4 adults and three teenagers. The house was well stocked with information for sightseeing in the area. The bedrooms were very comfortable .Bathrooms were spacious ,all necessary supplies and then some. The kitchen was great for entertaining ,large table with every thing you would need .We felt like we were home. The apple tart Lillian made was wonderful . Our host went out of there way to make us feel welcome even notified relatives to let them know when we arrived. The children enjoyed all the animals ,the host even provided food to feed them.
Would recommend to all this house and hope to return again in near future. Can't say enough about how comfortable we were made to feel here.
Have nothing but good to say about this house and hosts.

My family and I had a great stay at Leginn.
We were made to feel most welcome by our hosts and enjoyed the unique character of Leginn Mill.

“Fab”
Reviewed June 27, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

The last few times I have stayed in Fermanagh I stayed at the national trust cottages in the Crom Estate. Now Crom is a fantastic setting but the accommodation was somewhat lacking. Having recently adopted a dog I was a little miffed to find that dogs aren't welcome at Crom and so booked the Cornmill.
First off the family are very friendly and the cottage is full of peraonal touches from the tin of cookies in the kitchen to the cards on the mantelpiece. The cottage has free wifi, a large flat screen tv in the living room with a dvd player and freeview and as well as these has a few essentials supplied...some of which I had forgotten to bring. Salt/pepper, tea, coffee, milk in the fridge, plenty of towels, hand soap etc etc etc. The cottage was clean and tidy and it was always nice to see a donkeys a horse and a goat wandering about outside.
The cottage itself was easy enough to find and there is..not plenty...but enough to do nearby. The Crom Estate is about a 15 minute drive away as is the town of Lisnaskea. If the weather is good there is a picnic table in the garden as well as a bbq....unfortunately it rained every day during my stay but I still had a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.
