We had a four day break at the end of May 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. This is the second time we have stayed in the Fermanagh Lakeland Lodges. The first time seems like a lifetime ago when our children were small - they are now adults and we were able to have some time just for us. The Beares are most helpful in every way - nothing too much trouble and the accommodation/facilities are excellent. A place to be enjoyed by children and adults alike with so much to do in the surrounding area ... our four day break was just not long enough. Hope to be back soon.

We were doing a cycling challenge and stayed for a weekend in June. The lodges were perfect with balconies looking out over the beautiful scenery Fermanagh had to offer. The owner did all he could to accommodate us even to the extent of giving us a lift to the pub and picking us up again for no charge.Great spot!

Just spent a wonderful June bankholiday weekend at one of the lakeside lodges with my family. The perfect getaway, very relaxing, yet plenty to do to keep everyone happy. The 3 kids (ages 10, 9 & 6) especially loved going out on the lake in the boat (life jackets provided), trying out their fishing rods and exploring the Islands and jettys along the way.. The lodges were clean and spacious, the tennis court was on our doorstep and the kids appreciated the playground & games room while waiting for the bbq to heat up in the evening. We also enjoyed visiting the surrounding villages and it is really close to the beaches of Donegal. The hosts were really friendly and helpful (nothing was a bother - hairdryer, more charcoal...) and always made time for a chat, full of stories and history from the local area. Micheal told us of the upcoming plans for the resort and we really look forward to sampling the changes on our next visit.

This was our third time staying and Fermanagh Lakeland lodges didn't disappoint. The location is perfect. Loads of great attractions within 30min drive. We recommend murvagh beach in Donegal, the cow shed cafe in pettigoe and tickety moo for ice cream. Our children enjoyed the on site play ground and the walks around the lough. The site feels really safe as you are well off the road. this was great as we didn't have to worry about traffic or strangers and the children could dander about.
The houses are well equipped and very comfortable. We settled in straight away. Anything extra we needed, ie cots and stair gates, were provided.

We enjoyed it so much that next year has been booked already.

Rosie & Bobby are fantastic hosts; full of knowledge about the local area, and always friendly and approachable. My family and I stayed in one of the beautifully located, and well-kept lodges near the edge of the waters of Loch Erne, and I can say that it is an experience that we will not forget! I played golf at one of the nearby links golf courses (Donegal golf club - an excellent choice by the way), and did some fishing in the Loch. Can't recommend this place enough!

Another great MAY day weekend in the Lodges, everything was spotless and the heating was on for our arrival. Within 20 mins of our arrival the unpacking was done the fire was lit and the wine was open ....bliss. We stayed 3 nights and always say you really need the 4th night just to totally unwind. The bed in the master bedroom is sooo comfortable it is hard to leave it in the mornings but one look out the window and you are soon up and out and about. Thank you Beare family for yet another weekend of rest and total relaxation ;-) Will be back in October !!

Rosie, Bobby and Michael are the MOST accomodating hosts you could wish for. We spent two nights in one of their beautiful lodges, and they were nothing but friendly, helpful and obliging. On our arrival, they made sure we had everything we needed, logs for the fire (kindly brought over by Bobby) hairdryers from Rosie (Some how three girls on their way to a wedding had managed to leave out this essential item!) and even tea bags.

We were here for a wedding on Lusty Beg, and so didn't get much of a chance to explore the local area, but it seemed BEAUTIFUL, and Michael informed us there was loads to do, including canoeing, fishing, walking... there is even a tennis court on site.

As this was only a short stay, we didn't hire a car (not a good idea!) and arrived in Enniskillen by bus from Belfast. We had planned to get a taxi to the lodges, but on ringing the guys to let them know when we would be arriving, they very kindly offered to organise us a lift, and Rosie herself picked us up from the bus station. They even gave us a lift to the ferry (Lusty Beg is a short ferry ride away), when we had trouble catching a taxi to the wedding. (Please note they do not offer a personal taxi service and we would strongly reccomend hiring a car if you don't have your own transport!!!!)

We would strongly reccomonded Fermanagh Lakeland Lodges to anyone looking for good value, clean and well kitted out accomodation within a beautiful setting. We want to thank the Beare family for making our trip so enjoyable :-)
