We enjoyed a wonderful relaxed few days at this delightful farm guesthouse in the heart of Fermanagh. Lovely accomadation, great breakfast and fantastic hosts. Bernie and Gerry were great and we had a great opportunity to see a working dairy farm in action.

Abocurragh Farm is a first-class establishment in the country not far from Enniskillen. We arrived late afternoon without a booking and were made very welcome by Bernie. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate and the furnishings stylish and of superior comfort. We ate a tasty breakfast while enjoying views of the beautiful garden. Just wished we had more time to stay another day.

We had a lovely experience staying here. The hostess was very gracious & breakfast was delicious. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had no trouble getting 2 rooms even though we had not booked ahead (this was in October). The setting was idyllic, out in the country; very beautiful. Great place!

It is very rare to come accross total satisfaction in holiday accommodation but Abocurragh farmhouse must come as near as it gets. Location and setting is perfect. From first booking to departure we experienced most friendly welcome ever with the use of a beautiful lounge where we had tea on arrival. The standard of decor is just lovely and has giving us much to think about. We were invited to see cows being milked and learnt a little there. Breakfast was the best ever in our lives with a choice a both delicate and wholesome experience way beyond anything one could imagine. Host was a pleasure to spend time with.
We were with 2 friends visiting us from England and they too were very impressed. If you are ever visiting the Fermanagh Lakelands and want to stay near Enniskillen, forget hotels and give Abocurragh a try, you might very well find us our some of our friends there.

Room Tip: Leave it to the host, they are all perfect

We stayed for 2 nights with our 2 children ages 6 and 8. Also joining us was another couple and their son age 5y.
The kids were thrilled to watch the morning milking and play with the lovely and gentle dog Max. After this morning activity they were ready to sit and ate the most fantastic breakfast. Bernie made her Wheaten Bread that is the best version of soda bread that I have had. She generously agreed to give us the recipe.

While visiting Monea castle, on our way on to our next stop, we were very surprised to see Mr Mullally driving up in his farm vehicle. He made the trip to give us an item that we had forgotten. We were overwhelmed with thankfulness!! The very soul of kindness.

There are many things to do nearby that are great for children.
Monea Castle and Florence Court gardens were of particular interest.

We would make a special trip back to Northern Ireland just to stay at Abocurragh Farm B&B again.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are excellent!

If you're looking for a B&B that is top flight, well run, affordable and provides a constant flow of special touches, look no further. When we first booked I was a little concerned about being in a rural environment and the ability to get a good dinner at days end. Should not have worried. With Bernie and Gerry as your hosts there was nothing to worry about! Bernie adds a special touch to everything she supplies, from a dish of chocolates waiting in your room to the incredible breakfasts, the willingness to go the extra mile for her clients, it just seemed like nothing was beyond her. Accommodation was spacious and comfortable, beds were great! Breakfasts were exceptional - porridge beyond belief it was so go and try the fried chicken livers - OMG!!! Gerry spends most of his time working the dairy farm - a great fellow to spend some time with and has an excellent perspective on living in the North for 5 full generations of the family. Can not say enough nice things about this B&B. Once you get there, you will NOT want to leave!

Room Tip: Room # 1 is VERY spacious, also has a walk in shower - good for guys that are a little bigger than m...
