Typical does not imply demeaning, it's just that after 10 days touring Ireland, the pubs tend to get very similar. The fish and chips were fine but my wife's lasagna missed the mark. It was served in a small bowl and was dry, not much sauce or else old and over cooked. The beer list was typical of most pubs we visited, Guiness, Bud, Heineken, Coors, Smithwick's, and Stella. Not much variety.
