“Very interesting”

Really well worth a visit. Pleasant and helpful staff who explained the history of the castle. The courtyard displays were excellent and would be of interest to both adults and children. Good disabled parking

“A child's eye view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2012

I visited Enniskillen Castle with my 9 year old son. Sometimes visits to museums can get a bit boring for a 9 year old but here they have a trail for children. My son loved looking for the clues and filling in the answers. It made both of us read about the displays. The castle has interactive displays which also make learning fun. We marked our answers at the end and as he got them all correct he was able to pick a badge. Thanks for a great morning!

Great selection of military history and I don't have any interest in such things normally. Well worth a visit. It has an excellent section on natural history

“Interesting to walk around, with some good activities over summer”

Short and easy walk, well-preserved architecture and historical features. Staff courteous and helpful. Activities eg bookmaking, or outdoor theatre production suitable for children, were fun and well-organised.
