We stayed here in a room overlooking Lough Erne
Glorious view. Comfortable room
(rooms overlooking the road might be noisy and with the lough view SO beautiful, try and secure lough view!)

Breakfast was busy but the staff are bright and cheerful and everything comes quickly hot and freshly cooked)

Staff were friendly
service quick and efficient

Good hotel. (next time will take in the spa too)

The location is good. Near Enniskillen and yet lough-side and feeling rural.

My husband and myself stayed in the killyhevlin for 2 nights with breakfast and one evening meal it was very nice and the food was very good especially our 4 course meal in the silks restaurant I must mention Anita she is a credit to this hotel . The only thing I think this hotel needs is a digital clock in the bedrooms

Room Tip: Ask for a lough veiw

Arrived Sunday about 2pm, yhe hotel was very busy, staff were very helpful. The food was average but expensive for what u get. The grounds and surroundings are beautiful and very relaxing. looking forward to going back and staying over rather than a day trip.

Dear "Stephen s"
Thank you for your feedback - Sunday lunchtime is definitely one our busiest times of the week. On Sundays we offer a full 3 course carvery meal with coffee/ tea in the Lisgoole Suite or the more casual (and hectic) dining option of our buffet and snack menus in the grill bar and lounge area. We look forward to having you return, regards, Leigh Watson, HR.

Kellyhevlin hotel is a pleasant drive from Dublin. When we arrived we were made feel most welcome. The reception area is bright and the backdrop is lough Erne. The lounge area is dotted with a really good choice of seating arrangements. The menu available in the bar had a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes. After a brisk walk, we checked out our accomodation. Lovely room and gorgeous furnishings and fittings. The spa and leisure centre were very good.
We had a few places we wanted to see so, up early,a swim, breakfast and by lunch time we were ready to drive to Belleek and to see the lough Erne resort(G8 Summit). We were not disappointed.
Friendly, welcoming Fermanagh hospitality wherever we went. Dinner in silkes restaurant was very good. It was a 24th wedding anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed! Sorry to leave Sunday....we could have done with another day.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the lough.

Myself & my husband stayed here one weekend in June. We found the staff very welcoming & accommodating. The rooms were very clean. Our hotel room had an excellent view of the lough. We took advantage of the spa & pools - we were very impressed. The service for meals was very speedy & a grand selection of foods for breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here :)

This hotel has a beautiful location and the views from the rooms are gorgeous, if you're lucky enough to be on the lough side. We were allocated one on the road side and immediately noticed the heavy traffic noise. We went straight back to the desk and the girl was good enough to switch us to a quieter room, which also had a view over the water. Having a scenic view, instead of looking out over the car park, made all the difference to our experience. We'd have been very unhappy in our original allocation.
Our room was immaculate and the bathroom gleamed. Bedroom and bathroom were spacious and really comfortable, the bathroom having separate shower cubicle and bath.
All good. But no more than you'd expect in what is a pricey hotel.
What we did find underwhelming was the cuisine. We had dinner in the restaurant and while it was nice enough food, it didn't exactly inspire, being safe, traditional Sunday lunch sort of stuff. Breakfast was the same, with no fresh 'takes' or any individual flair in evidence, just very standard hotel fare.
This is a pity. Lots of hotels offer fresh local produce but cook and present it creatively.
They have to, to compete with all those talented chefs on our local restaurant scene.
This is a beautiful hotel with a great location and nice facilities, but for the high prices they're charging the food is pedestrian and unexciting.

Room Tip: Insist on a room with a better view than the car park and road.

I recently stayed at the killyhevlin following a friends wedding. I have been to the killyhevlin various times before and always been impressed by their high standards.

Unfortunately having not been for a few years, I was thoroughly disappointed at the hotel. Although very clean and situated in breathtaking scenery, I felt the hotels interior has become very outdated. There seems to have been very little in the way upkeep. Having been very excited about staying here and praising the hotel to my partner who had not stayed before, he wondered what all the fuss had been about when we got there. We certainly did not come away with a feeling we would want to return anytime soon. It certainly was not a bad or unpleasant stay, but for the money we did expect a pleasant stay, which I sadly have to say it was not.

Furthermore, Our bedroom was small and very basic, with no extras that I would expect when paying higher end market money for the room. Despite having booked our room several months prior to another couple staying, we ended up with a room overlooking the car park whilst the other couple had a room overlooking the lakes!

On a positive note, the spa was lovely particularly the outdoor hottub. The grounds of the hotel are really beautiful and kept to a very high standard but unfortunately the weather wasn't great when we stayed and so we didn't get to enjoy these.

Overall a disappointing experience.
