Catherine gave perfect instructions on the internet and was worried a lot when we arrived very late in the early morning hours. She even called my wife in Germany in the middle of the night to ask whether something had gone wrong, as the trip from Dublin took us much longer than expected due to a severe snow storm.Waking up the next day and seeing the swans on the wonderful river right in front of our window, followed by a delicious Full Irish breakfast and a warm 'Good morning,it's a beautiful day' by Catherine created warm feelings in us.Pancakes, poached eggs on muffins, cereal, fruit juice, coffee or tea, toast or fruit salad offered every morning were soon too much for us. The rooms were well appoinetd. We had 1 room with two separate beds for my son and me .The room was fine clean and homely with a TV. The bathroom was modern and incredibly clean. There was a young lady cleaning up the room and the bathroom every day
We were in the heart of the countryside with the lake being so still and peaceful.Catherine helped us organize a boat and we went out pike fishing all day long on Lough Erne. At night we could fix the boat at Corrigan's Shore Guest House private jetty.
Corrigan's Shore Guest House is the perfect place to stay to experience true Irish hospitality, meeting very friendly people in the midst of a fantastic nature.

Catherine was great on the phone when I booked and gave perfect instructions how to find Corrigans Shore. It was a delight when we arrived to find we were on the edge of the lake. Catherine's welcome was genuinely warm and she chatted with us when she gave us tea. She was very helpful on all the questions we asked during our stay. The rooms are spotless and there's everything you could need. Ask for a room overlooking the lake. I woke up to crested grebes diving one morning and a pair of swans on another. The breakfasts are delicious. We went on touring round N.Ireland to other B&B's. We rate this one the best.

We booked Corrigan's Shore Guest House by just picking it out of an accomodation book when we arrived in Enniskillen and we weren't sure what to expect. However right form the outset, Catherine the host was incredibly accomodating and helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble - we called her at 3pm in the afternoon and we were having tea and scones with her at 4pm.
The rooms were well appoinetd - had 2 rooms for 4 people - one which had 2 single beds and another which had a double and 2 singles. The rooms were fine - nothing special but clean and homely. The bathrooms were modern and incredibly clean - there was also an abundance of hot water which seemed to be an issue in other hotels that we had stayed at throughout Ireland. There was also free wireless internet which was a bonus/
Catherine was happy to offer us recommendations on things to do and places to eat.
The breakfast the next morning was excellent - best breakfast we had!
The view from the rooms from nice as well - you really felt as though you were in the heart of the countryside and the lake was so still and peaceful.
Corrigan's Shore Guest House is the perfect place to stay to experience true Irish Hospitality without breaking the budget!

We booked to stay at the Shore Guest House whilst on a driving holiday through Ulster. The guest house is in a new building which looks purpose-built a few miles from Enniskillen and sits on the shore of one of the waterways that joins the Lower and Upper Lough Erne. Catherine was there to welcome us with tea and scones in the front room, which she left us to enjoy and when we were ready showed us our rooms. We had booked a twin and a single and found two well-sized ensuite rooms with nice big showers. The rooms were a bit plain but newly furnished and spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast menu gave a good choice of food (full Irish, pancakes, poached eggs on muffins), and obviously cereal and fruit juice. The website calls it a 'luxury guest house' - well not quite - it's new and clean but with the standard 'No Smoking' and 'Fire door' signs stuck up can look slightly more impersonal than some places we stayed, plus the breakfast was more Kellogs cornflakes than luxury granola, but at £26 per person sharing it was excellent value for money.
