“Comfy and Quirky”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

This is a gem of a place to come and have a culpa. It is colourful, friendly, laid back and delightful. I feel very comfortable there just having a coffee and /or a piece of excellent cake! If I lived anywhere near, I would make it a regular haunt!

“Amazing place-Moody servers”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

I visited pinky murphys last summer, i have only come round to review now, so things may have changed...
i LOVED the atmosphere and if i was to ever own a place (the dream) this is the sort of place i would love to create. The food, simple but satisfactory.
Staff do not match the environment, the cafe is quirky, fun and full of personality and staff are lacking all 3 of these qualities, expecting a laugh i didnt get one. Slightly disappointing but if i was to return to Fowey i would still visit pinky murphys, not on my own but lots of friends to entertain me!

“SUCH A NICE CHANGE”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

What a great place to have a brew or a meal. We stopped for a cup of tea and a piece of cake. We spent a lot of our time 'looking for elvis' in one of the m,any books , toys etc that fill the mix of chairs, tables and decour. Colourfull would be the best description. The tea was nice the cake very tasty indeed, and the staff friendly and helpfull. Next time I will try one of their speciallity pasties!!

“Quirky but fabulous”
Reviewed September 11, 2013 via mobile

We visit here every time we come to fowey as in my opinion it's one of the best cafes around. Food is superb, very fresh, reasonably priced and a pot of tea for one goes on for ever. The place is a mish mash of lots of bits and bobs, mismatched chairs, tables & bean bags and a very relaxed laid back atmosphere. We have never had a problem with the staff who we have always found lovely. One word of warning though it is not very easily accessible if you have mobility difficulties (steps to get in and step stairs up to the loo)
