“Monday night quickie”
Reviewed June 27, 2014

Met wife after work in Newcastle, having told her we would be eating out after an appointment,
the setting is nothing short of spectacular on the river, next to the Millennium Bridge and the Sage Entertainment complex. Mild difficulty in finding the way in but no great problem. Smooth ride up to sixth floor (the top floor). Reception was friendly and professional. Food was good quality and good value. Wine suggestion spot on. Observation room and loo views magnificent. Yup, would go back especially with friends from out of town

“Good food, amazing views - especially from the loos!”
Reviewed June 22, 2014

Visited for dinner with a large group of friends. Drinks service in the bar was very slow but restaurant service was very good. The food was not cheap but was very good - only criticism was that it was a three course menu and I would have preferred the opportunity to have (and pay for) only two courses.
A must see view across the river to Newcastle from the ladies loo where the free standing wash basins are surrounded by glass walls on three sides!

“Great views... Perfect for a treat!”
Reviewed June 20, 2014

Visited Six for my wife's birthday. The cocktail bar area has fantastic views over the bridges on the Tyne. We were greeted immediately and seated, however drinks took around 10 mins to arrive. Food was served promptly, we went for the steak, which was delicious, however did not really warrant the price as sides are extra. The only disappointment was the desert - felt like an Aldi special with a Harrods price tag.
