A weekend away for our anniversary and a late booking at Rossmor.
From arrival to departure you're made to feel so very welcome.
Nothing is too much trouble.

Never had a better cooked breakfast, and home made bread for toast was fabulous.

Rooms (we had 6 on top floor) are very spacious and immaculate, with lovely en-suite facilities.

We love a weekend away and Rossmor was the perfect setting for our stay.
Lovely people, lovely surroundings, so much so we'd happily return without hesitation.

We have stayed a couple of times now at RossMor and we cannot fault it in any way. Karen and Neil have made it a very special guest house with a lovely atmosphere and the rooms are just spotless. We have stayed in different rooms each time we visited and have not been disappointed. Our room was bright and airy with a lovely view, a huge four poster bed with top quality luxury bedding and a modern well appointed ensuite. Breakfast is just perfect, with quite an extensive menu to choose from and homemade granola, marmalade and jams and bread. There is also a nice lounge to relax in and chat with other guests. Thanks again Karen and Neil for another enjoyable stay.

Hi Annie, it was great to see you both again, and thank you for taking the time to write such a kind review! We're pleased you enjoyed our new breakfast menu with all the homemade goodies. We really wanted to offer a better choice than just the usual three or four offerings and it is proving really popular with our guests. Thank you again for the fantastic architect's drawing and we hope M enjoys the wee surprise in the post! Hope to see you again soon, best wishes, Karen and Neil.

When we saw the ratings for the RossMor guest house we figured we were getting a good place to stay. We had no idea how much of an understatement that was. Quality and customer service does not begin to typify the amazing experience we had staying at the RossMor guest house. Karen and Neil were both such great hosts, two people whose company you really enjoyed and wished you could have spent more time with. They went out of their way to meet every need, and some needs we didn’t even know. For instance when we checked out and headed to Glenmore to do the Reindeer hike, they were worried that we may not make it and when we arrived we found out that they had called ahead and asked those at the visitor center to keep an eye out for us.
All of this combined with amazing fresh and onsite created and prepared food, incredibly spacious rooms with every amenity, and the opportunity to just spend time on a beautiful property. I don’t know anything else anyone could ask for. Thank you again Neil and Karen for your wonderful and welcoming hospitality!

Hi LT168, This is such a lovely review, thank you! We recommend the reindeer hilltrek to a lot of guests and most think it is the highlight of their holiday, so we hope you enjoyed it. We would love to see you both again if you travel to this part of Scotland in the future. Thank you for taking to time to share your stay with others. Very best wishes, Karen and Neil

Karen and Neil were most welcoming. They gave us excellent advice about places to eat and things to do in the area.
The guesthouse is beautiful and spacious and the room was large and comfortable with an amazing four poster double bed.
Grantown-on-Spey is very well placed - central and good for walking, flyfishing and visiting one of the many distilleries located in the region.
The breakfast was delicious and varied. We would love to visit again.

Hi Martin, thank you for your great review. It was lovely to meet you during your stay with us and we are delighted that you enjoyed your visit. Many of our guests return to Grantown once they realise how well situated we are for exploring the area. They find it more relaxing to have a base for a few days, rather than living out of a suitcase every day. We would love to see you again, and hope that we can some time soon. Very best wishes, Karen and Neil

The difference is in the detail.
Small touches like complimentary toiletries, USB connections in rooms and booking evening meals in local restaurants.
Lovely breakfast and very relaxed atmosphere.
Highly recommended.
