This is my third stay this year. The hotel is superbly located for the Speyside area and has recently been warmly re-furbished.It retains its old character and personally i find the staff friendly and welcoming and to be fair i was remembered on my last 2 visits which is very complementing!
My room was spacious, well furnished and warmly decorated. There was complimentary wi-fi...a bonus for the business traveller. For me i found the bar prices average and wine in the restaurant equally so.The menu was good and food well presented and fresh.Service at all times was excellent. My only downside would be breakfast - a greater selection of fresh home baked breads would be welcome.
The real pluspoint for this hotel are the staff and they do genuinely make every effort to make the stay a memorable one!

we just spent an excellent weekend at grant arms.the food was first class (and plenty of it) staff were very attentive and polite.the rooms were clean and well kept.hotel in good location, very handy for exploring the surrounding area. we were at this hotel some years ago, i think it was run by shearings or wallace arnold at the time, and being honest it needed a bit of t.l.c. well it got plenty of t.l.c. and a great deal more. highly recomended.

Not a great delight......food and drink was overly priced and of poor quality, service was not much better, rooms I would say were avarage for a 2 star hotel but very poor for this apparent 3 star.

A coaching hotel of the blue rinse brigade whom all seem to have some thing to do with birds??????

Quite simply not a hotel for anyone under 60 with a taste for good food and restful sleep.

WE COULDN'T RATE THIS HOTEL AND EXPERIENCE HIGH ENOUGH! Everything was to a very high standard. The food and staff were excellent. The BWWC was very informative giving us all the advice we needed to see the beauty of the local area and wildlife we wanted to spot. This is our second visit to the hotel and i know it wont be our last! This year was made extra special by the added company of Simon King. If you love wildlife and the outdoors but with warmth and comfort in an evening then this is the place for you.

The food was excellant and Simon King worked his socks off but despite all of that this was abig dissapointment. We were herded like sheep but the sheepdog lacked training, and a watch, so tended to arrive after confusion had set in. The hotel rooms are very basic and supplies of shampoo and soap were never replenished.

We had a wonderful holiday here. The room, food, staff and facilities were of a very high standard. Our room was recently refurbished in a contemporary style (right up my street.) Breakfast and dinner were very good with lots of choice. Wine prices were reasonable too.
We went to see the wildlife in the area and were not disappointed. The information room is covered in maps and photos of what you can expect to see. There is a wallboard which everyone can write on, about what was seen and where (fab idea)so check it out every day.
We did have the added bonus of Simon King joining us, which was just perfect.

We stay in UK hotels 3 or 4 times a year, sometimes spending a lot of money, and have never stayed in a better one. The staff are helpful and obliging - nothing is too much trouble, and give a very high level of service. We stayed in "the wing" which had, I think, been recently refurbished to a high and comfortable standard. There was a lot of choice at mealtimes, and the food was of a very good standard and a lot of local produce was used. We would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay in this beautiful part of Scotland, and hope to visit again ourselves very soon!
